I dunno, I broke with a lot of the Adult Swim shows sometime around when it first starting airing (what... 5 years ago?) obviously it has nothing to do with age but there was a shift in the programming of Adult Swim that I just didn't get. Squidbillies is another good example of humor that does not ring with me.

Futurama tho, that's the shit.

I can understand the dislike for the general shift in programming. There were a lot of changes around that time that didn't really mesh with me either and some of their older shows went in the same direction or ended. I still miss old Adult Swim with Space Ghost, Brak Show, Sealab, and Harvey Birdman.

Metalocalypse still lives up for its overall story, but is still no where near as good as Home Movies.

did you know that if you buy a pineapple that already smells like pineapple it's already too ripe? same goes for pineapples that are anything other than all green on the outside.

Damn right. And Squidbillies is a bad show that's probably why. Sealab was pretty great, but really it's all about Check It Out with Dr. Steve Brule.

Oh and I watched a few episodes of Bob's Burgers. It's...not my favorite H. Jon Benjamin show I'll say. I heard it's a lot better in season 3 maybe I'll just jump ahead.
 
Someone recommended Squidbillies to me and at first I was like “this is… so stupid” but it has really grown on me. I love it now even if I can’t understand it sometimes.

Rusty and Early are da best

I turn 24 next month and it feels like time goes by wayyyyyy faster than it used to. Must be because of settling into patterns and cycles and not being so overwhelmed by the newness of life. But with it comes a hesitancy to think about what needs to be done now to get a desired result in the future, and to do it ASAP, so in that way, life's just beginning :-p

I know that feel. I'm already 24, and people are pressuring me to become an adult. So I rebelled against their wishes and became a Peace Corps Volunteer. One day I might become an 'adult.'
