GAF redirecting to lemode-mgz.com?

You know, web developers are always bitching about their visitors using ad-blockers, and I always whitelist my favorite webpages, but this horseshit is exactly why people use ad-block. Without it, advertisers have turned the web into a fucking wasteland of pop-ups, pop-unders, floating ads, back button traps, like-us-on-facebook-to-proceed traps, cookie miners, trojan loaders, and god knows what else. Ad-block is the only way to experience the web as it was meant to be, a place for reading and discussing, and not the disgusting mess advertising has turned it into. I have now removed neoGAF from my whitelist, and I can't even visit it from my iphone any more. Guess I'll have to do something else on the bus every morning and afternoon. Thanks guys.
 
Well, it happens occasionally now but not as often as it diid when I visited my parents in Atlanta (on comcast there, on frontier fios here. DOn't know if that would make a difference).
 
It's happening a ton on my iPhone (Safari), but if you notice, only in specific threads (meaning, it's probably code being injected by specific ads)

If browsing wasn't so hard, I'd tally up all of the sites people get redirected to, to figure out which "sponsors" are doing this.

This also was happening to a Firefox browser in Mac OS, but that's a work computer and weird (doesn't happen to me at home)
 
It's so annoying and awkward. I was quickly scrolling through a thread and the page changed to a bunch of half baked ladies and now people around me are judging me

I think there is another thread on this, but yes I am getting them too on a desktop PC. Using IE right now at work and it is getting absolutely fucking annoying. I've had the redirect pop up about five times while I've been writing this post
 
I've been checking the page elements and js console and gaf's page ads are loading javascript to redirect. If you disable javascript it will resolve the issue.
 
Just started getting this on my iPhone 6+ with Safari. Seems like every other thread I go into redirects me there. I did get some great beauty tips though.

My God. Hadn't been noticing on mobile but I just started using PC and jesus, the redirects. I'll just be scrolling through a thread...

You mean the marketing team and site owners? The web developer isn't going to care, our job is to simply build the site. 9 times out of 10 the developer has little say in what ads run on any given site. That's at the discretion of the owners, marketing team and the ad company.
 
Every 10 pages or so that I go to redirects me, usually when I hit back to return to that page. I get redirected again. I have to either back up a few pages, or go back to the homepage and find where I was again. It's fairly annoying.
 
Absolutely ridiculous. The site is completely unusable now. I just got redirected 5 times in a row trying to read the same page.
 
Neogaf has been redirecting me to apps on mobile... I can barely browse the site without being sent to the app store every 4-5 pages.
 
Looking into it further this

Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/javascript: "http://pixel.mathtag.com/sync/js?sync=auto".

Appears to be the problem. I could be wrong here but it's the last bit of code that executes before redirection.
 
Just got it for the first time on my laptop if this continues I might have to go back to the gt forums

At the very least this should reset your add preferences and make it show up less often.

Yep, iPhone 6 here. It's been happening almost non-stop this morning. Oprah and Ellen lol. Had to switch from Safari to Chrome. Seems to be helping.
