I'd never give you shit for not believing. That's a fan's right, and I've done it myself a million times. I gave you shit for taking an unwarranted shot at people who still did believe there was hope and insinuating they were less of a fan than you (the 'lifelong' comment) for not posting here as often as you do. That's just wrong.

As for the "easier to think that when you only started watching last season" comment...what? I shouldn't have to remind you about Russell's first game against the Packers.

I took the shot because there was no reason to believe there was hope. It was just blind faith at that point, and I find that idea repulsive. See also: :kas

I'm saying it's easier to have blind faith when all you know is a Super Bowl-winning season.

The "walking dead man" had basically double the receiving yards, touchdowns and receptions that Amendola had this year so...I don't really see how it's even a comparison between the two.
What did he do last week? That's all I care about. Edelman was the real Welker replacement, anyways.

I'm just saying that when you have the Packers vs Wilsons'Hawks, you also have to factor in that God/Karma/Fate hates the Packers and their fans.

No, you read it right. He has played with the shittiest defenses since 2010. But Luck has had less than what Romo has had (Romo's offensive line has at least been rebuilt and he has targets). I am fucking amazed, there is no QB asked to do more for his team than Luck.

From yesterday

@ESPNStatsInfo

Andrew Luck has accounted for 77.7 pct of the Colts offense (including playoffs), most among the 4 remaining QBs in the postseason.

I know ;__;

Luck is great... he needs more help. He cannot do it alone. They need a REAL running game and REAL defense week in and week out.

It's okay he is doing well carrying his team each year further n further.

But he cannot do it alone.

Maybe Luck can pay for his own team when he gets paid this off season.

Heaven knows we won't be able to!

Why not? Luck will get a megadeal, but he and Vontae Davis are pretty much the only super expensive players you have. You'll get Mathis back next season or his $6 million contract will go away, either way your team will benefit. Grigson might be reticent to spend another 1st round pick on a running back, but if they took Melvin Gordon, that would go a long way toward fixing their offense. The Colts are in great shape for the next few years, they just have to keep adding the right players, which I guess is easier said than done.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I hate the Colts so I supported the filthy cheaters in Bawston. Now they can rot in hell.

I would rather deal with Western being a raving lunatic an entire off season than deal with all the Pats "lifelongs" that will come out of the woodwork like little cockroaches.

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
Wilson is 10-0 against the great QBs wow

I find this pretty amazing.

So glad the Colts got embarrassed. They were fortunate to even be there, they played a hapless bungles team, and the injured Peyton mannings.

Also, watching the Packers choke away that game was amazing.

Smug Gata and happy Dutch and Bread would rule

I'm okay with any result here, which I wouldn't have been if it was Packers/Pats or Colts/Hawks

Sports writers are so weird. I just read an article saying the Seahawks have to win the Super Bowl this year in order to prove that last season was not fluke. How could anyone consider last season's team a fluke after the success we've had this season? We've won 8 in a row and ended the season with the best defense again. Winning the SB would be amazing, but the Hawks have already proven that their success is legit.

But the seahawks bandwagoners are just as bad :(

At least we don't call ourselves 12 or whatever. Well gata does but I'm not talking about our ages.

You just came to this conclusion now?

The story is in the scoreboard.

Sports writing is constructing a story around that. Its mostly bullshit. The good stuff is explaining why a play worked or how an injury impacted a coaching decision or maybe writing about an interesting statistic (see Fatfords record against teams with winning records). But most of them are too dumb to do this.

I agree, they should just let Luck go so we can sign him.

Luck should walk into Irsays office, wade through the piles of cocaine and tell him he wants to know what his plans are before he signs an extension. If he doesn't get him some weapons he should tell him he will become a free agent and go home to Houston and make Irsays life a living hell for the next decade

I agree with this. Not sure if Luck can take Mallett's job, though.
