There's a couple meh songs but it's ok overall, pretty straightforward rap album. I actually have a desire to listen to it more than once unlike Lasers and F&L2. But I thought the same thing about J Cole's new album compared to his previous two as well, so maybe I just don't like them much anymore and won't admit it lol.
Not sure how much it'll stand out when so many other rappers are going to have their albums out this year though.

I actually like T&Y. Is it a great album? Nah. But there are some good tracks on it.
What irks me though is that you have to take an afternoon off to listen to Mural. And the sample was flipped better on Curren$y's Mary.
Still, quite the step up from Lasers and F&L2. Not that that means anything but eh...

Lupe didn't murder anything but the Lupe stan in me is glad that he's still at it and that he can still do it without being too preachy. Production is okay and his lyrics are good. Let the album breathe... It's way too easy to listen to something and get ultra hyped for how it sounds.

This can also be applied to a lot of other artists who aren't too consistent. I would probably agree with you though, I wouldn't really put it before or inbetween his first two works.

Personally i don't, i think he's an immensely talented dude who's still capable of making incredible music.
I just don't rate this album is all. Maybe next time.
Lasers had a few peaks and a lot of valleys for me. F&L2 was pleasant but very forgettable. Both had flashes that reminded me of better Lupe though.
Nah, Black Vietnam with S1 is supposed to be next. S1 said it's coming this Summer or Fall. Can't wait for that one!
I think Logic will come out with another amazing album in 2015 thats my prediction...
