On the matter of TRU, don't be surprised if you go to checkout and they don't let you buy them. If TRU is somehow breaking street date by accident, they can prevent you from buying the item at the checkout counter, even if they put it on the shelves.

I've been reading and refreshing this thread all morning. When did we make the leap that TRU has Wave 3? I haven't seen anything that even remotely states that.

People are reading snippets of our conversation but not reading it all. There is no confirmed release of Wave 3 at TRU today. We never even talked about TRU + Wave 3. We talked about Wave 3 in EU and someone going to TRU to meet up with a TRU employee who is also a GAF member.
I live right near a mall. Within 5 miles of me are two GameStops, one Wal-Mart, one Toys R Us, one Target, and one Best Buy...I've had a lot of luck without pre-orders, but I'm not chancing it with wave 4 onward. I've got three (well, four with the trade) nailed down for this wave.

i preordered shulk just to make sure i could get one, but don't really want one now. I'd pass him off to someone that does if it comes in.
Probably shouldn't be me. I've already been incredibly lucky in this forum. Also, I've yet to even play his game (waiting for N3DS). But his figure does look really really good, and he's one of my mains, so someday

I know Azula and I are hoping to score a Shulk each.
I'll keep my eyes peeled. I secured him through a trade on here.
Rosalina is the one I'm really wanting. There are a few Targets near me (four of them pretty close by), but I'm worried she's going to be scarce.

Not available yet. Had them check in back and boxes are marked Feb. 1.... so that does mean they got (something)....

Yep that's exactly my plan. I'm teaming up with some AmiiboGAF peeps and were going to report to each other with our findings and then report here. Team up peoples!
I'm going to be busy until 5ish so hopefully they aren't cleaned out if/when I get there assuming that:
A. This Toys R Us madness is happening nationwide
and
B. They will actually sell them early

Oh, neat. My Target order I made for two Rosalinas on Dec 17th was canceled today because my debit card I use for online purchases was two dollars short. It had said pending when I made the preorder originally so I thought it was already charged. Had no clue they would pick today to try and charge me. Sigh...

If we are following how Japan and Europe have a Wave 3A and 3B combined with our knowledge of confirmed release dates from Walmart and BB, I would think the below is a good estimate of US release dates:

For the Feb 20 figures, we have received no confirmation of release dates (except Sonic is weirdly Feb 13 at Walmart). Also, those same figures are part of Wave 3B in Europe to be released on Feb 20. Nintendo factory production schedules probably had the Feb 1 figures being made first and the Feb 20 figures after, hence the Wave 3A and 3B in JPN & EU and the lack of release info for US Feb 20 figures. Did I make any sense at all above? Hahaha
