After much research and long nights, I have found the culprit.

Brady: "I'd like to know what happened as you all would too. In the meantime I'm going to do the best I can to get prepared for the seahawks

Anyone else listening to this presser on WFAN via Francesa's show?

His occasional grunt of laughter and "good lawwd" at these obvious non-answers is high comedy.

Could cold temps deflate a minimum legal ball over the course of the game to the illegal psi number found?

No. It wasn't cold enough, and the Colts' ball all stayed within regulation.

There is zero chance this was accidental, or the result of mother nature. All but one football was deflated by the exact same amount.

This is like a murder scene. Brady probably had million things going in his head, trying to run plays, execute etc... Not worry about some stupid footballs. Getting out of hand

I would, but Francesa is a clown who I fear would give me ear cancer if I listened to him.

You people are either hilariously naive or just desperately trying to stay ignorant to the truth so you don't have to admit your favorite shirt did something bad.

Both are pretty sad.

So if it was a mystery person acting of their own accord what would you suggest happen? It has been rumored by Shefter that the NFL is having a hard time finding evidence. This is just ruining Super Bowl week.

Incoming conformation for either side.

"He looked so uncomfortable, that lying motherfucker!"

"He looks so calm, I believe him."

"He looks so calm, he must be lying!"

After a few days of this stuff, and hearing from vet players, the two press conferences today, I think this stuff has been overhyped.

Hopefully this story dies soon in preparation for the SB.

One to submit to the officials for testing during the game, the others for gametime lol..

lol pretty much. confirmation bias

nfl hype...evil empire patriots vs. seahawks and the rest of non-boston fans as the 12th man

There is no way in hell a ball attendant deflated 11 footballs by exactly 2 PSI without explicit instructions to do so. His or her sole job is to maintain those in a playable state.

The Patriots are circling the wagons and hoping this goes away. They are playing the safe bet that telling the same lie with protect them, and it very well may. But trying to toss blame on some poor person just doing their damn job is laughable.

Brady has been playing professional football since 2000, and he's been playing the game for far longer than that. He is full of shit trying to argue that he couldn't feel the difference in the balls. Full of shit. This is some lawyered-up bullshit. I can't believe folks are falling for it.

Francessr is numbah one in New Yawk, ok? He can't even find you in his rearview mirrah. Never could.

Of course he can't. I'm not driving in NY.

What's funny about this situation is how much better he threw the ball after they replaced the balls with regulation, approved footballs.

My man sounded like he was going to cry up there. That man is scared something he had no knowledge of is going to tarnish his legacy. I believe folks. I believe.

And other people are latching on to any teeny tiny little detail and trying to make it sound like Brady and Belichick should be given the death penalty and the NFL abolished and outlawed. Both sides are dumb, as is usually the case on the Internet. They're either totally innocent Angels of Heaven who raise stranded kittens in their spare time, or guilty monsters who throw babies in blenders, freeze them, and pour them over the football to obtain a lower PSI. No in between. And I say this as a life long Chiefs fan.

That is very likely the reason that ball was left unaltered.

Tom Brady is putting on a performance Lance Armstrong would be proud of.

Yep. The amount of mental gymnastics you have to go through to believe he didn't realize they were deflated, that they didn't feel any different...is staggering.

But Pats fans are in here saying they believe him and he seems so sincere.

If you aren't thinking about something you are less likely to notice. Of course if you are handed two things and told they are different you will approach with that bias.

If Tom has never thought about "is the ball under-inflated?" then he's probably not going to notice a slight difference or think anything of it.

You are really focusing on the wrong people here. But you probably believe that the Patriots are the only team ever to do anything not explicitly in line with the rules ever. Thank you for responding to me btw.

He's bullshitting. He's super uncomfortable.

So because he is uncomfortable he is bullshitting? Maybe he is a little nervous? Or under pressure? He could also be think shit if I say something in the wrong way ( even if he isn't guilty) then the press will jump all over him. Anything could make a human being nervous or look uncomfortable and it isn't just lying.

It makes it easy to believe him when you look at his performance after the balls were swapped and compare it to the performance before.
