Haven't been able to catch up on the last few pages... but did anyone have any luck with the MM 3DSXL Gamestop in-stores? I went there over my lunch hour and was able to get one! At that time, they said they had just started taking orders 20 minutes before that. So would have been around 12:15 Central Time.
You have to pay for it in full and they ship it to your house. Does NOT ship to store. I did the cheapy free shipping and ETA is around February 23rd. Not great, but I can wait as long as I know I'm getting one!

Some scalper arrived to the fnac of my city this mornig a bought every new amiibo of wave 3 there was in the store.
I dont even know why they let people do that. 1 per costumer, is it so hard to do? They already know there is demand for them, is not like thay are not going to sell them.

I called my GameStop and they were not taking any pre-orders. They said they were already sold out of their allotment. Sorry guys! I'll keep looking out for my fellow amiibros.

GS has a bullshit 3 week rollout plan. Shulk releases on the 13th along with the tsunami of Nintendo stuff. I have 2 GS's right near me I'll be checking at opening. You should do the same. Hopefully people find extras though, I don't see it being plentiful

They had a TON of Bowsers, no Toon Link left, and the friendly lady working the videogame department said there was one Sheik in the shipment, and it sold when they opened that morning. She said they are expecting to get more, and to check everyday, because they get shipments Monday-Saturday.
I actually live close to Novi, and will be hitting up the Toys R Us near Twelve Oaks Mall on the way home. I am hoping to get a Toon Link. Sheik I don't as much care about, as I have her preordered in a couple different spots.
So there is a Metro Detroit Amiibo update. I am sure it was fascinating for everybody!

Yeah, I won't be able to get out to GS at opening that day either. Bleh. He's one of only 3 announced figures I really want (the others being Robin and Lucina).

What a crappy thing to do.
Why do people want it so much? It's just a gold coloured 3DS. Not even a N3DS.

I think you are confused. The Majora's Mask LE is for the new XL. There was a Zelda LE for 3DS and one for XL, but none of them were MM related.
Although it comes with no game and honestly I find the Majora's Mask faceplate to be way cooler:

I'm blessed with no classes on Friday, so that's my highest priority that day. Still not hopeful with 2 GS's within 5 min
For Bay Area GAF I went to the Emeryville TRU this morning. They had tons of Bowsers and the guy was putting out the limited number of Toon Link and Sheiks they received. He actually put out their Lucarios but when he scanned them it said he couldn't sell until 1/30.
I bought the three I could. If my TRU.com order comes through I'll have some extras so I'll let you guys know what I have.

I just ran down to my local TRU on my lunch break at work. This is the Miamisburg, Ohio location (not sure the store number).
They had two Toon Links and three Bowsers left. I grabbed one of each. The guy in Electronics said they got 4 Sheik's in today and they were gone this morning.
Sucks I couldn't get Sheik, but man I'm thrilled I got Toon Link (one of my most wanted) and Bowser!

Good luck! No classes, but Fridays are always my busiest work day of the week. Honestly, I probably won't even bother trying to go to GS during my lunch hour. I may call them, but I already know what their answer will be. =P

Maybe she was covering a lunch break? Department stores always stick random people to watch over important departments like that, even though they have no idea (and often don't care or bother to ask anyone).

EDIT: Never mind, it looks like they sold out of their US pre-orders for Shulk, but the Japanese Shulk is still available!
