Amiibo Discussion Thread 2: I Got 99 Pre-orders But A Rosalina Ain't One

Is there any way I can import a Villager from EU that ships to the US? Every time I've tried Amazon it won't let me ship it to US. Dying for him :(

Ok Good, because GS in the US still doesn't have any (at least mine) so I was just wondering if they were trickling in and somehow I missed the box lol
 
Does anyone know any possible way to snag a Villager amigo for less than $25?

I just want him to use in Smash, so any region will do. Cheapest I've found is like $32.
 
I checked my local Toys'R'Us again and where they had like 12 Bowser and like 6 Yoon Link's a couple of days ago, today they had 4 Bowers left and Toon Link was cleared out.
 
Quick question, my Luigi amiibo ordered from Best Buy got lost in the mail so I was able to get a refund. I then went ahead and purchased one in store and weeks later that refunded Luigi arrived in the mail.

Would I be able to return the Best Buy.com Luigi using the receipt from the store bought Luigi or is there something on the barcode or whatever that would pull up that I already got refunded?

You can, as long as it's within 15 days of the in-store purchase.

Call them, chances are they`ll let you keep it because it was late and you get brownie points for been a honest costumer.

I want to try and call/go in the night before, just in case. I tried doing the same at TRU for Wave 1, but the electronics person was on break or off, and no one else knew what an Amiibo was (yet).
 
Decided to order Kirby from Japan. Just under 16 euros uncluding shipping. Probably takes 3 weeks to get here. Still cheaper and easier than finding one here

Ugh I really hope Rosalina doesn't release on the 30th. I will be hungover in New Orleans that morning. I have a much better chance of getting her if she releases on the 1st.
 
Just was at my local TRU, they had 2 racks full of bowsers. I don't think they're gonna be rare. I might pick one up. Anyways, the guy I was talking to said Lucario was gonna be out on the 30th, which really bummed me out because I'm gonna be in class when they open.

I don't even really want Lucario, I just wanted one in hopes of being able to trade it for a Pit or WFT.

I think it is so dumb for them to release these while people besides scalpers are working.

The 30th does make sense, since Nintendo moved their new releases from Sun - Fri in NA. Makes sense for games at least, since now you get the whole weekend to play the shiny, new title. For Miibos? Yeah it is tough for students/working folk :/
 
When did we get confirmation that target will sell rosalina ahead of the 1st? We just know that she will arrive before the 1st, like how toys r us already has lucario.

We need someone from target to see if the system has her street dated. If the ad has her featured, they will need to have at least some in stock.

Thanks! He was the most difficult and costly one I have. I originally had one from Play-Asia but when he finally shipped his capes emblem was badly smeared and I hate stuff like that so I sold him and found another importer and bought it off him, because play-asia (despite having stock) would not exchange him for another and subsequently raised their prices $10 after I got mine. he looks derpy in the pic but actually looks great in person lol.
 
Shulk is the only Wave 3B amiibo that's never been up for pre-order on any EU Amazon, right? This amiibo's going to be a bigger bloodbath than Rosalina.

Wow thanks guys! Think I just ordered the last one. I put one in my cart and when I went to add another it said there was no more from the current vendor. Paid 31 for him. WORTH IT.

If they're getting Rosalina in on the 30th, its possible that they stick her out basically any time during the day, depending on when they get the shipment in.

At least that's what I'm assuming.

So that leaves all day the 30th and all day the 31st for possible early release of Rosalina..ughhh.

Target is pretty strict with street dates. Wont even ring up
If they say the 1st...its the first
