I like the Zack returns stuff, a web browser game with micro transactions based on his early years in SOLDIER. Yes, yes, it all makes sense.
 
Oh, totally forgot about Toriyama's next project. I just hope he's being kept away from
Ito's
FFXVI while he's working on something else :D
 
These pictures actually gives me a SNES Final Fantsy vibe. If not that, then a Mana vibe.

That said, and giving the fact its a PS4 game, its too late for me to say Im not excited. :(

Why would you not be excited since it's PS4? Would you rather it be on your phone? lol
 
BTW, does anybody know whether the Feb. 1st Active Time Report stream will be the February one they said would feature a thorough explanation of FFXV's demo gameplay?
 
I was listening to IGN podcasts and Marty Sliva was on some top secret missions in Japan. Wonder if it is linked to this?

Hrm. Yeah, they mentioned going to Sony Japan and going to another studio whose name they weren't allowed to say, and that the embargo would lift in early February for both. That, combined with Project Code Z's Twitter releasing English updates as well as Japanese, then the possibility becomes all the more likely.

Didn't one of the IGN guys see a Japanese PS4 game that was going to be announced where shortly? Maybe it is this one?
 
This thread is not quite as large as I expected it to be. I see that many of us are learning, slowly but surely, to not hype things too much anymore (see PSX thread (both of them)).

That's true, but since then, Square Enix announced SaGa 2015 for Vita, Gunslinger Stratos Reloaded for PC and School of Ragnarok for arcades, so they have been getting better.

MS sales are going to pick up in the West. All of SE's games are going to sell more in the West anyway. Just by that alone they're going to have multiplat games in Japan as well.

And I highly doubt that the only games that SE are going to make that are AAA this generation are going to be only those two games.

Can someone please post the FFXIII throught FFXII: LR PS3/360splits from NPD? I know they are out there...

4.95 million on PS3
1.95 Million Xbox 360 .
6.9 million worldwide

2011 PS3, 360 Final Fantasy XIII-2:

A game like Secret of Mana is not going to sell well for MS. There's a reason that MS got Japanese devs on board early on the 360's lifecycle and everyone started running away half way into the generation. MS sales are going to pick up in what way? They've been bombing everywhere not named US and UK.
