Well, remember how I told you guys Target refused to sell Shek because she was supposed to come out on Feb 1st, even when the manager assure us she will be available there?

Just checked today brickseek, sheik is gone. Last night she was still there. Nooooot anymore. Nor there nor anywhere.

Oh well, now to wait for Wal-Mart to come through.

I sold mine for the same amount. It was more about the hunt for me. Plus I still have my favorites set aside. Honestly probably not worth the trouble for most people. All 18 sealed, Europe versions of the holy trinity.

I used to work for Target and a buddy of mine still works there. They got four of them in and Sheik was the only figure that wasn't hardlocked in the system. He held Sheik for me yesterday and when I got there, the other three were held for employees.

So I guarantee you the employees bought them or held them for their buddies.

Oh nice! I have yet to sell something on ebay so I don´t know how much paypal and ebay takes for your purchase, but its good you got a nice price for the lot. What figures dd you ended up keeping?

I edited because it wasn't my auction, I thought it was because that picture and the counter in it look similar to the one I took. For something like this though ebay and Paypal took $50 and shipping was $15. It was closer to $18 per amiibo, and hence why ultimately it wasn't really worth the bother. I did get many of my amiibos from TRU sales though.

I have Pit, Cpt. Falcon, Europe Villager, and Fox. The only one that I sold that hurt was Little Mac. I only had one of him because I gave the other to my nephew for xmas. I won't be selling any of the wave 3 I get though, I'm keeping them.
 
Dengeki Bunko getting localized makes me feel like I'll be able to get a preorder for Lucina no problem whenever it goes up. That's how lucky I feel lol.

NYC. I pre-ordered Shulk from Gamestop on their website for in-store pickup. Only got the notice for Bowser so far.

Edit: Fixed my post. Accidentally put Shulk in the TRU section.

Its amazing how hard to find is Little Mac, and he is such a popular character too, I´m pretty sure he is a fan favorite between kids and nostalgic adults alike. I lucked out with the one I bought here in the B/S/T thread for 40 bucks, but came with a club nintendo case and a twilight princess soundtrack, I sold the case to a friend for $25, so it evens out.

I guess rules don´t apply to them, huh? I´m not that upset, honestly I´ll try to do the same if I wanted something but I was forced to buy it until the end of my shift, imagine how painful must be to, say, sell the last little mac when you have it right in your hands but are not allowed to sell it.

But still, Its good to know promises are worth shit at Target, hah! Next time I´ll use it against them with the same manager, lets see how she acts this time. At least an apology I want.

Now I just need Gundam Extreme VS to be localized and then I'll feel like I can take on the world. With appropriate Wave 4 preorders going up at the same time? I'd be in heaven.

Not so sure about that. My local Target showed them as in stock, but when they punched the DPCI number in, it told them not to sell it until the first. This was late last night right before they closed. Now, when I look up stock it says "not available" on every Target location that comes up. I think they just started locking them out until the 1st honestly. Kudos to those who managed to get one anyway.

Yeah, it really seems it's no longer a holy trinity, Little Mac is arguably just as rare as those three at this point.
 
I'm annoyed at ShopTo. Ordered an Ike on Friday and it still hasn't arrived yet. The money has been taken out and they claim that the order was completed so I have no idea what's going on.

Yeah, when they got the figure it showed that the street date was Feb 1 for Sheik, but they still would let them go through with the purchase. I do think there is a chance they just locked them out of the system since I´m also not seeing Rosalinas and they have 26 on the back according to their in-store system.

I´ll be there at 6am anyway, no way I´m miissing out, she is the only one left (Unless TRU fucks up my Lucario preorder)

I´ll argue he is the rarest right now, the Holy Trinity at least is still available for import every now and then or at some stores in europe, Little Mac is not even there. Maybe we should call them the Fab Four.

I honestly don't see there being a whole bunch of people at my Target for these on Sunday before they open, so hopefully I won't have to be a runner. It's so undignified. :p I'll be doing some stretches leading up to opening though, just in case. I plan to arrive 2 or 3 hours early also; going to start a new game of Ocarina of Time 3D in preparation for Majora's Mask. If there are any Amiibros in the Napa, CA area that want to meet up, I'd be down for some Smash action too.

It is possible that corporate updated the system late last night to fix a mistake if it really was street dated.
