Though I'm curious when they say limited quantities. Limited quantities like Majora's Mask CE? Like Marth and Villager Amiibo? Is there any news on the Wii U Gamecube Adapter also?

Nintendo hasn't said anything, but they were in stock on amazon.ca for about 30 minutes last week.

Same here. I'm not in too big of a town, though it does get populated when college students are around in the fall (not as much now in the winter), so I think I'll have a decent chance of getting her. & I wouldn't mind her, but if I had to choose an exclusive retail amiibo, it'd be Meta Knight....or Shulk. But I do feel like she could be useful in the future, being part of the Mario line.

thank you so much! I'd been out of this thread for the past weekish, and totally missed the preorders :'( luckily I was able to snag em all (except toad, alas)! So mario is exclusive to the Mario Party 10 bundle for a while, right?

I went there, they scanned it, there was no street date in the system, then they sold it to me.

It seems to be that the only sure-fire way you're gonna get amiibos here in NZ is to preorder them from EB Games. Mightyape didn't get enough to fulfil their preorders, I heard that either JB Hifi wasn't taking preorders or that they did but it was limited. EB Games being a corporation I can assume are the "main" priority regarding amiibo distributions.

EB has good stock for pre orders. Mighty Ape have free pre orders so sometimes they oversell or people order ridiculous amounts because they don't have to deposit and cancel at will.

Don't try and find things in store. Pre order at EB. Bite the bullet and pay the deposit. Safest bet.

Ike and Shulk seem to be the only ones that are very rare. Dedede and Meta Knight were on Mighty Ape for release day.

EBgames definitely safest bet, and when you pick them up from the store you can ask them to price match from other retail stores.
Also if you call JB Hi Fi on the morning they come out you can ask them to hold some for you but they will only hold them till the end of the day and they can also price match.

Got most of wave 3 pre order but I will be on the hunt for Rosalina. I have extras I want to give out to some of you but it will have to wait after the coming madness. Those extras are two villagers, diddy and little mac. Each of those come with a story especially the villagers.

Here are what the other 2 Toys R Us stores around San Francisco had to say regarding Lucario.

San Mateo: Pre-orders only.
Redwood City: They're delaying the release to Monday.

Basically if you're in the bay area, you are probably not going to be getting Lucario.

Yeah, that's what San Mateo told me last week too. Did they say they would be selling them tomorrow for preorders at least?

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and pre order Mario Luigi Peach and Toad.

Going to be more picky with this line though. I'll pass on Yoshi, Bowser and when the time comes Rosalina because I have and prefer the Smash ones. And I'll skip Daisy, Wario and Waluigi because I don't care about them.

I hope they go into enemies and stuff though. I want Koopa, Shy Guy and Boo amiibos.

Shulk is not out. We expect to receive stock on it at GameStop in the coming week but it is not 100% guaranteed.

By "give", do you mean sell, or for free? I wouldn't mind the Little Mac one.
