EDIT2: I couldn't find the September NPD thread, but Destiny sold better on Xbox, yes that doesn't include Bundles, but at that time, the PS4 had a higher install base anyway so it should have charted higher on PS4, unless that game appeals more to the Xbox demographic? (which is my point)

No, no, no. Don't get your hopes up, that just shows up because someone mentioned Crystal Chronicles in the comments of GameSpot's article about the teaser site.
 
Does anyone know if Nico Nico automatically changes the times of streams to your timezone. Because I think the stream is supposed to take place on the 31st sometime (I can't find the time it starts though) but when I go to the Nico Nico site it shows Jan 30. Starts at 17:30.
I'm in eastern time zone.

Edit: I feel dumb, Haha it says the time right on the teaser image, and I was looking at the wrong thing on Niconico.

So the event will be streamed Jan. 31 at 2:45am EST. For anyone wondering.

Yeah, that's unfortunately 1:45 a.m. where I live, which isn't terrible late, but given my schedule these days I'll have to sleep through this one. Don't imagine it'll be anything crazy substantial, so I'll try not to fret it, but even if it's a simple small- to mid-tier JRPG, I'll be pleased.
Aaaand just to spite me, it probably won't even be that :(

This most likely isn't this and it probably means nothing, but interesting tidbit of info: ARR's Yoshida mentionned that special "Dissidia" cards will be available in FFXIV's triple triad.

Just to add a bit more fuel to those new Dissidia rumors...>_>

And were all thinking FF7 HD collection! and then a simple theme pops up with Cloud, Zack, and Vincent avatars and Hashimoto does his patented laugh. There's no Z in that image and this is a PS4 title. School of Ragnarok and the one below it are arcade games. Anyone hoping for a AAA game have unrealistic expectations. This will likely be a mid-tier rpg or something along the same line.

Destiny "sold better" on Xbox One because Microsoft gave away (two?) free games to everyone buying an Xbox One in september. These were given away outside the box, and as a result they counted towards NPD - while the game bundled inside the box with the PS4 did not.

Toukaigi 2015 (Jan 31 ~ Feb 1) and JAEPO 2015 (Feb 13 ~ Feb 14) are separate events. M.S.S Project is the name of a group of streamers who were invited to the stage shows.

Project Code Z will be announced at Toukaigi 2015 tomorrow.

Destiny also sold better in October & December on Xbox too. Anyway, regardless of the bundles, the PS4's install base when Destiny launched was ~1m higher in the US & continued to climb until November.

I'm not saying it didn't sell well on PS4, it probably sold better on PS4 worldwide due to Europe & RotW, but I'm talking about the demographics here, shooters & sports titles tend to attract Xbox owners more.

Yup, and other genres usually tend to perform better on PlayStation, especially if they were Japanese games let alone Jrpgs.

Exactly, & Its been like that for years, I don't know why people are surprised. Last gen Call of Duty/Battlefield/Madden sold better on Xbox & Final Fantasy/Tomb Raider/Resident Evil/Grand Theft Auto/every single japanese game sold better on Playstation

Battlefield sells better on PlayStation now. If the lead keeps growing, I can see MS and Sony have a draw in COD, Destiny 2, and Madden/NHL/NBA while getting even more destroyed in every other genre.

I am worried the graphics shown so far look like a Vita game. I hope this looks good, would be great if it was a Mana game.

Madden sold more on PS4 overall though.

Reminds me of Friday mornings when I find that Xur still isn't selling Heart of the Praxic Fire or chest engrams.
