I 100% agree. There is not a single announcement that could top this. Not even a VII remake. The gall, the stupidity of there being a Final Fantasy X-3 would more than justify the game's existence.

nah...I'm just browsing the thread, treating it like any other new game announcement, could be something cool, could be crap. The days of me being hyped by something from SE are unfortunately over.

I still believe they can wow, I'm just not hyped by anything they do because the announcements are so random. Also wish they would port some of there good titles to consoles from handhelds.

I 100% agree. There is not a single announcement that could top this. Not even a VII remake. The gall, the stupidity of there being a Final Fantasy X-3 would more than justify the game's existence.

FFX's story ended perfectly. There was literally no reason to go back. It was an incredibly satisfying ending but they had to capitalize on that one loose end that should have been left as a loose end. But they went to crazy town and we got a very out-there sequel and a follow-up story that makes about as much sense as an elephant playing with Hot Wheels.

It's more likely to be "FFX-3" than... Idk, "Fires of Zerodius: Mist of Life". Guessing new IPs is hard...

Personally, I think we can rule out a re-release of some kind. I assume the images in the teaser are appropriately linked to the game being announced and if it were a re-release then I sure some obsessed fan would have figured it out by now.

But then again this is Square Enix, so maybe the images are just code for words whose first letters spell the initials of some re-release. I don't effing know... I'm just preparing for the worst-case scenario.

Probably a new entry in existing franchise or a spin-off or something that is small scale.
