Kojima kinda nuked any possibility of having a normal game take place after MGS4.

It is no need for developer to reveal only one platform release. I personally think Sony secures another exclusive to PS4.

I'm gonna hope it's simply because it is a Taiwan game show and Xbox One is likely irrelevant in the region so like most other games it won't release on it there.

Yah I'd agree with this. Metal Gear fight was the first big boss done well in a while, and the Senator was well executed too.. But Mistral had awful camera angles (And second section was dumb), Monsoon had too many dumb sections (cutting things is boring) and took too long (plus the slow walking sequence before it), Sam wasn't bad but felt tacked on towards the end. Sundowner fight felt like it had intensity to it (with his taunting), but you could easily cheese him. So I hope this time around they put less gimmicky stuff into the fights..

I don't know a part of me reads and says YES, but another part of me wonders. i mean the fight against senator armstrong was so great partially because it was so unexpected if they were to do it again but on a bigger scale it would lose that freshness.
