I don't think it did much better than DmC, but Kojima was happy with the turn around and establishing a decent start to a new spin off game. I mean what else does Konami really have cooking besides MGS5, and a new Silent Hill..
That's why I felt it would get a sequel, because Konami isn't really making many other things besides Metal Gear..

I liked Rising, but I was hoping for Zone of the Enderrs from KP and Platinum 
In the US, not that much of a lead, but it did sell better. In Japan, much better (the best debut for a character-action game since Devil May Cry 1).

It was shown during a Sony segment. If it's exclusive anything, it'd be PS4.
