This is why I didn't get my hopes up about this at all.

FFXV might have hit 1 million on Xbox 360, not the Xbox One, A lot of people called X360 a dudebro console, but at least it had a significant minority that bought non shooter/sports games too, this gen so far only dudebro games have been selling on Xbone (disproportionately better than PS4 too).

And this isn't me making fun of people that buy dudebro shooters or anything like that, they have a right to buy whatever they want, I'm just pointing out facts regarding the market.

Yup, and other genres usually tend to perform better on PlayStation, especially if they were Japanese games let alone Jrpgs.

Exactly, & Its been like that for years, I don't know why people are surprised. Last gen Call of Duty/Battlefield/Madden sold better on Xbox & Final Fantasy/Tomb Raider/Resident Evil/Grand Theft Auto/every single japanese game sold better on Playstation

You can blame Microsoft for that, as they always heavily target their consoles as the home for FPS's & Sports titles, while Sony usually markets their consoles to target all genres of gamers.

Never underestimate SE's ability to troll their fans, they'll go to extreme lengths to do do.

And I agree with duckroll, what Square fans are expecting out of the company is never going to happen under current management. The FF15 and KH3 reveal from two years ago is probably the best that we're gonna get.

I hope they bring the old lady from the Persona 5 announcement stream back. They can start showing the trailer on a TV in the background, while she keeps blocking the camera from showing it.

I remember back in November 24, 2013 (my birthday!), it was a series of Persona disappointments because everyone expected Persona 5 and they got a chibi dungeon crawler, a dancing game, and a fighting game.
