Seriously, why are people taking this "reveal" at face value? The explanation is coming from a crazy person. It's a trick, a joke, a part of a plot to continue to push Batman off his game. It's not something that will just be retconned later, it'll be revealed to be not actually the case by the end of this very arc.

The Joker being immortal is cool but c'mon it could easily be a fake-out the Joker LIVES on torturing Batman mentally could just be another way to get at his psyche. Can't wait to see Synder finish the arc tbh.

There's a thousand different ways to create the read without doing that. How is it I can read in ComicGAF and not get spoiled? They use a freaking spoiler tag. Wow. What a novel concept!

Snyder peaked early with Court of Owls, but I still mostly enjoy this run... his scripts are way too overwritten though, he (or an editor? do they even have those anymore) could very easily cut out swaths of paragraphs in basically every issue.

Agreed that it's a dick move to post spoilers like this for a book that hasn't been out a full week even. Lots of people aren't caught up, especially with that snow storm hitting the east this week.
