I can sort of see why. Her voice is pretty unique and can go higher than most.
I think she makes an adorable Happy from Fairy Tail though.

I really dislike this version of Heartbeat, Heartbreak, which is my favorite song in P4/P4G and likely my favorite song in the entire franchise.

I don't like it either, to be fair it's probably because the reincarnation tracks tend to be too different from the originals. Deep breath reincarnation is another one I don't like even though I love the original.

Yeah for instance it's kind of strange for me to hear people hate on JP naoto's voice considering it's a voice that doesn't spoil the game for you
i dunno if it's known, but gematsu notices that the last event has 5 red "?" instead of 3 black "?" like other unannounced events, i guess it's easy to understand what and when to expect

I'm the opposite - I couldn't even remember the original version of "Deep Breath Deep Breath" whereas I love the Reincarnation version. It's so upbeat!
Because she's not their favourite character, whilst she is for a large number of the fandom. If you're looking for a genuine reason, you'll not find it.
Truth be told, the reasons are almost always illogical and childish. It's hardly unique to Persona, but it's definitely exacerbated. What, with the way that the characters are integral to the experience.
And to use myself as an example, I've never been particularly fond of Yukiko. I got the district impression (during my original playthrough), that the narrative was almost forcing her upon me. Contriving situations, in which to have me interact with her. That's not to mention, the fact that I was informed (by the cast) that she was amazing, yet I found her boring. I've resented her presence, ever since. That said, she is a legitimately popular character.
It's an issue of taste!

It's a good thing I enjoy the Velvet Room music because I would have gone insane with all the hours I spent in there
