Gaf giving things a fair chance instead of knee jerk reactions or only watching one episode? Maybe in a parallel universe.
 
I'd imagine most of GAF was put off my the original (terrible) adverts, or by the name alone.
 
This episode was actually really great. Most I've laughed at this show in awhile. It just hit all the right marks.
 
Anyone watched tonight's episode? It was hilarious! And Nadia is back! And she's pregnant!

Nadia: I am going to name baby, baby. Because it is funny.

Nick's date is awesome too.

Nick's date: I love watching porn! But I mute it and make my own dialogue. "Oh, that's a nice mesh catsuit." "Thank you, it was my grandma's."

LOL! And the girl fight between Jess and Cece was amazing.

This episode had a weird vibe, but I liked it. Though the twist with Nick's gf was kinda not so much of a twist. But Winston's role in it was fun. His study methods resemble mine an awful lot.
 
Who the fuck thought the new opening title cards were passable?

Those images look like something out of a shitty newspaper ad for JC Penny.

Yeah. I fucking hate the new opening. The original one was silly and got the point across, Jess is the weird, quirky and whimsical one and the guys indulge in her bullshit sometimes just long enough before deciding to go back to their shit. The new one is terrrrrrrible. Horrible photos that just look like the stuff you send off in press releases to show the actors in the show, they are just cut together with no reasoning and it looks cheap and bad. I remember White Collar changed it's opening for a few episodes into something really bad but it was quickly changed back. Why isn't this getting changed back ;_;

Show is still really funny though.
 
The good thing about the intro is it's even shorter. Short intros for 20 minute shows rock.

also lol at the ford advertising in this episode. I actually laughed when they did that.
 
Didn't really like the latest episode. Too cheesy for my taste. And it really bugged me that everyone got out of their plane while already seated. I know it's a TV show but this really killed my suspension of disbelief.
 
Yeah, because his character is very samish I recognised him right away.

Nice to see Nasim Pedrad doing some work after leaving SNL. I always liked her on SNL and I know her sister is one of the lead writers on New Girl, so I guess it makes sense.
 
Ryan's chest is the best reason to watch this show right now. He's so hot.

Just kidding though, this season has been better than S3 so far.

I am loving this season. I just caught up yesterday and am so glad I did.

And yes, can we please burn the new intro? Even Scrubs intro change was only a single week because people crucified them for it. And all they did was make it longer. Bring back the "It's Jess" song please.

Bring back the "It's Jess" song, but film a new intro with the whole cast. The new intro just feels awkward in the worst way, where the original intro was awkward in a fun way.

Because the show had grown to be more about the ensemble and not about Jess trying to integrate herself into the loft. And that Coach and Cece were not featured in it at all.

I understand the reasoning behind changing it, but the thing they changed it to just seems so lazy and awkward. I know they can do better.

I just think it's be better with a moving intro like before instead of just static pictures like HIMYM or something.
