Persona 5 is a game that I probably have unrealistic expectations over. I was getting really burned out since it's announcement back in 2013 and was starting to be convinced that, no matter how much I was going to like it, it wasn't going to wow me.

I am so glad to be wrong about that.

Everything about the trailer oozed style and personality. There wasn't a single frame of animation that didn't get me super hyped. It looked like it was tailor made just for me. It's the game I've always wanted.

So I didn't think it was possible, but I'm back into maximum fanboy hype.

Persona Dancing All Night releases in Japan in June with a special P5 disc. So sometime after that for Japan.

To be honest I don't expect this game to come out, outside of Japan before 2016.

Or they manage to pull a Persona 4 and it comes out at the ass end of the year of 2015.

It's a message from Hashino and the dev team to fans. He talks about how Persona 5's main influences are School Juvenile fiction and Picaresque novels. Unlike previous Persona games where the players were clearly a team on the side of "good" going after a bad guy, this time they're trying for something a little different. The story is about high school students chasing after their own interpretation of "justice" after an unexpected incident. He hopes fans will enjoy the enhanced graphics and sound in the new entry as well as party members who might be a little more ill-mannered than before.

I wonder if we might get multiple endings based on the characters most favored by the player, like in the Devil Survivor series...
