I don't think anyone's calling you out for bs. If anything everyone doubts Nintendo's general incompetence with the whole amiibo (or anything else I guess) situation.

It's just a prettied up version of putting a markup on the value of the Amiibo. You don't say and don't think you are charging someone $26 for the thing, but in practice that's what you are doing.
Like with scalping, I have no problem with it since the supplier and the demander agree to it. But let's call a spade a spade, no? It's a secondary market just like the other one. You are just using Amiibos as currency instead of dollars, but as soon as you move away from 1 for 1, any moral high ground against scalping is lost.

Should I cancel my preorder for the Super Mario Bro amiibos? the only one I'm wary of cancelling is Toad. I'm already paying off my Mario 10 Bundle with Amazon gift cards. I have this feeling that they'll be super easy to get, but what do I know? I thought Luigi would be rare and Little Mac would be common.

Bestbuy.com sent me an email saying that King DeDeDe's release date is 2/20, but from reading this thread, people seem to be getting different dates and the website still lists the release date as 12/31/15.

2/13 and 2/20 are definitely the two release dates to go wave 3 hunting... So I suggest planning ahead!

we could all predict that, especially since Nintendo half-confirmed it with Marth reproduction
If Support Line employees are blabbing about production processes, I would imagine an official statement would come rather soon. Nintendo is just asking for an army of pissed off fans who paid exorbitant prices for rare amiibo, only to come out weeks/months later with abundant supply.

Sure enough, as everyone else is saying, Bowser turned out very good. Really though, all four of these are among the best amiibo I've seen so far. Good job, Nintendo et al.
Nice stuff, I also received the same from TRU (US) today as well. Everything was very well packed and the products were in mint condition. Great job TRU, you came through after freaking everyone out in December.

Not so easy for me, I impoted Japanese Rosalina and Lucario. I have 2 NA Lucarios (my GF wanted one), and 1 NA Rosalina.
I just swaped one of my Japanese Lucarios for almost 1000 coins worth of nintendo codes. I help an Amiibro, and he helps me get the Smash Bros posters I so want.
