Just because we were talking about it yesterday: I've continued P2:IS for quite a while and the encounter rate is not so bad, actually. It seems to turn down a little after the first dungeon and since the game isn't even that hard you can auto your way through them after a while. Auto is pretty cool in that game, too, since you can specify what actions characters should repeat throughout the fight. Though it definitely feels odd to go back to a system where encounters "just happen" and aren't represented by shadows or something like that in the game world.

I wonder how many demons will get redesigns now that we know we're fighting demons requiring fully new 3d models for them. Sandman and Pyro Jack looked the same and amazing, but I doubt that will be the case for all of them. I remember people were not too hot on some of the changes in SMTIV and I can't say I really liked any of the changes or additions at all. My favorite demon designs are any in the style of Alic, Hathor or Cu Chullain or any of those. Never much cared for more demon-y looking ones like Legion and shit or penis monsters. I also was never too hot on the party Persona's in P3 or P4.

Thanatos is the best persona in the whole series. I mean even Hermes, Junpei's persona is based.

I don't mean to hate on Thanatos or anything, he looks radical. But there are very cool demon/persona designs that I'd like to have if we're fighting demons again. Just have some straight up weird stuff like these:

That's what I'm talking about. These are fantastic. Simple but striking and creepy, especially Asherah. Not busy with all sorts of stuff going on.

The only Persona I remember not liking in P3 is Ken's transformed version; way too busy. Castor, Shinji's Persona is probably my favorite of the P3 designs, though Polydeuces is also cool. I don't think any of the Personas have as much personality as Kaneko's demon designs though.

I hope that Persona 5 does actually have the characters transforming into their Personas, because in P3 we barely even see them during attacks.

But the Titans actually looked like shadows if I'm not mistaken with their masks.

Nope, not even a lil. I've been dabbling in digital art for a lil less than a year now. This is actually my first bit of proper fan-art (other than the chibi stuff I've been doing over the last year). I've only ever been good at (non-trace) recreations. I actually suck at making original stuff.

In the beginning of the trailer two men in suits look to be looking for someone. Presumably the P5MC, those two guys don't look like your average security guard or police men. They look like guys that would work for a shady organization or something and they would be working for the Kirijo group as they are a large organization that seem to be involved in a great deal of affairs.

From what we know the P5 cast is seeking out their own version of justice and they would be fighting against societal norms.

It wouldn't be that far fetched that the Kirijo group is doing something shady and that Mitsuru has no clue about it. But my theory is half assed and I'm being fueled by hype.

Kei Nanjo making an appearance would be great too as he is trying to fix the Nanjo Group's wrong doings.

That's because a lot of the new artists weren't very good. I hope they don't use many of the designs from SMT4. There were a couple cool ones but they ruined some amazing designs like Lilith.

Dang, nearly 2 million views on the trailer now. Is it possible that Persona 5 could be the best selling SMT game ever? I hope so, because it looks amazing.

It's certainly possible. SMT is kind of a niche series, but Persona 5 is getting tons of hype.

She was terrible. Most of redesigns in SMTIV felt like they were trying to be too grotesque and crazy but they just came off as bad.
