My hate of Kirby and his favoritism treatment is even starting to rub off on my GF haha. Today she opened her 3DS and was like "OMG new puzzle, and its f**king Kirby again!"
Seriously, where is the Smash Bros. puzzle? What the shit are they waiting for?

If Iwata can stick Kirby for some reason into A Link Between Worlds puzzle do you think we'd get one of that finally too?

How did you get that many? HomePass?
I found out that you can get StreetPasses while your battery indicator is flashing red. Mine was flashing red and I went to a McDonald's. It never showed that I got a StreetPass (it just continued to flash red), but once I got home and put it on the cradle it flashed green and then stayed green. And I know that it was from before and not from me getting a StreetPass at that moment because I only get StreetPasses from my sister's 3DS at home, and hers wasn't flashing when mine was.

No, never. I've maintained my StreetPass data since launch and I do a lot of conventions. I know several people who easily double my normal rate of tags though.
Roughly 800 of those tags are also just me tagging myself, since I own two 3DSes.
Well, got all the Pink Monster Hunter 4 pieces quite fast. Missing some others (keep skipping that Sonic game one, that's the least interesting for me...) And some blue ones.
Pfff, I still haven't received a single pink MH4 piece yet. Damn things haven't made their way to Canada yet.

Getting a n3DS this month sometime. Keeping my OG red and XL Black. The streetpass farm will be real. No way I'm carrying all three around to get my 10 coins per day like I do with two. I'll probably get my OG to 300 coins and ready for new puzzle panels to be released and keep it like that.

I've just seen someone in my friend list playing Majora's Mask 3D, so I guess that means this time we'll be able to get tags while playing the game.
Remember that Ocarina of Time 3D and Star Fox 64 3D disabled wireless functionalities, so while playing it you wouldn't come up as "online" nor get any Streetpass tags (even if you left the console in Sleep Mode with the game opened).

I got my new 3ds xl a week or so ago and in that time I've gotten around 35 or so street pass hits. To be honest that's way more than I ever though I'd get; it may help that I'm surrounded by fellow university students. I've gotten a fair share of street passes from just sitting in my room, usually a minimum of one a day.
Your best bet is to go to McDonalds. I think they still hold on to the Street Passes of the most recent customers. Unless you are living in a huge Metropolitan city that has public transportation that is worth a shit and you actually use it, you are not going to get anything.
It'll be easy just to throw your 3DS in your bag before you go to school. Some days you will get some, some days you won't.

You might also be passing some relays without realizing it. They are good for six in one go.

I've been purposefully walking past McDonalds and still not receiving any streetpasses, hopefully with the new 3DS releasing we'll have more hits.

Yeah Sonic Boom and Captain Toad are almost done (no pinks there). In the case of Sonic Boom only one regular piece is needed and it is the bottom right one which assuming people just mash A through puzzle swap, is the rarest one (as it is last in the default order for picking pieces).

They've not made it because Zelda is unpopular in Japan. That said watch them launch an MM3D Puzzle next week,
oh who am I kidding it will be Kirby and Canvas Curse and just like Chibi Robo NOE will forget to ever upload the puzzle which will annoy me in 8 months time when the game comes out
I have to wonder when NOE will surprise us again with a special Mii.
Is there a cooldown on StreetPass after doing a system transfer or setting up a new system? Just did my transfer from my OG 3DS to my XL, updated Mii Plaza and set up the OG for StreetPass with a new Mii and stuff afterward, but it hasn't passed the other two 3DS's yet. It did get a homepass hit (although only got 3 instead of 6 Miis.)
EDIT: strange, the OG got a streetpass from my New XL, but my New XL didn't get anything in return. Still nothing for the OG and the old XL.

Alright making good progress in Monster Manor now! Got my silver box ticket and got 4 gold chests for the first time! Only one ticket inside, though. Already setting up one room of all red so I can get those next tickets, as well as the stronger weapons. I probably have several weapons I need to seek out, which will probably take a while. 25 puzzle boxes done too, so still a ways to go there.
Warrior's Way has been tough since I never run into monarchs anymore. Flower Town only has a few flowers left and then a few jobs left (unless I end up unlocking more but I doubt it). Mii Force will take a bit to beat on arcade mode since I haven't had a good set of colours to work with.
I'm starting to feel really... accomplished

I've been trying to complete Mii Force Arcade Mode but haven't done it yet. I can do the first 6 boards in my sleep but I screw up in the amusement area or the underwater area. I guess I need to go back and practice those areas again since it's been awhile since I completed them. Plus, I have to stop being aggressive in collecting jewels/gems.
Which colour do you use? I had good experience with a combination of the light green (nice auto attack) and the white ones (destroys enemy plasma bullets - good for the amusement part)

I'm at the whim of whatever I pick up during Streetpass. I tend to get a lot of red/green/black/blue.
I think for me, it's learning the safe spots in the various boards. I'm trying to get through 3-1 without getting hit. I can do 3-2 & 3-3 without too much trouble.
3-1 can be tough with the ghosts and wave of bats.
You can pay to bring in a few colors of your choice from what I remember.
I had a fairly large reserve of coins built up when I made my run through the game (I bring my 3DS with me on my commute so I always get 10/day) and I was able to finish the game after not too many attempts.
I always would try to get at least two light greens and one light blue and then fill up the rest of the slots with randoms. I would swap in different middle weapons (with light blue being the most frequently used) with the two light greens always on the outside in the front.
I get this too. Lately I've been getting TONS of red and quite a few blacks. If the colour scheme isn't favorable, I don't even bother. I could practice, but it's not worth it. But best run I had 7 street passes, most were blues with a white and a red I think, and I picked out the last 3. I still ended up screwing up in the water world since it was the first time I got so far and I was out of practice.
When I do get tons of reds, I focus it all on Monster Manor, since I'm trying to go with my huge, red room.

It's been taking forever for me to finish my puzzles... People seem to be using street pass that I run into, but no one's been collecting puzzle pieces :/ Of a batch of 10 I run into, usually only around 4 people will even have any of the 4 latest puzzles.
So behind! NES Remix, Captain Toad, MonHun, and now Smash. Trying to get them done in order to the best I can, but I especially want to get MonHun out of the way since it's so far back there.

Monster Hunter is becoming thew new Kirby (just kidding, you can see from the timeline the MH panel is down to international release schedules). Also the puzzle swap RNG hates the panel. It took me 90 play coins to get to 6/32 (aside from that the game could pick from 4 other puzzles which went down to 3 during the spend).
If only there was a Chibi Robo panel or something Devilish involving training and brains...

Keeping track of how many monarchs I beat in Warrior's Way. 54/100(300) which is getting easier the more my army builds!
As for Monster Manor, need to run into more red shirts. Close to having all of the weapons, but still need about 24 more puzzle boxes. That'll take a bit.
Flower Town still needs 2 last plants (getting to be a pain...) and 3 more jobs. 2 of the jobs would be easier, but I already used those plants in other jobs I was assigned :/ Getting to be a pain to try and grow them again, too.
(Mii Force is on hold until I get a good set of colours... Need more blues!!)

Now I know what the people who complain about too many Kirby puzzles feel like.
