Looks so freaking awesome.

I guess they're saving Deathstroke for the Suicide Squad game. :(

Well, Deathstroke was in Origins so it's not like they haven't used him already. Still though, he could show up in Arkham Knight in some fashion.

Would've liked Black Mask and/or Hush to join the league of villainy in this.

Hush is going to be involved for sure, they wouldn't have started that thread in City otherwise.

Not every character has been revealed yet.

This, like Arkham City before it, are two of the most graphically impressive games of their respective generations.

And like City, I bet you Knight will never receive its due accolades in that regard.

It's easily the best looking game revealed this gen so far, IMO.

I will say this. I haven't had motivation to play a western video game since 2012. Not only that, but I generally don't care about superhero characters nor video games about superheroes. This game is making me change things. The city looks absolutely AMAZING. The detail, the size and scope... wow.

I've never played an Arkham game. Can someone fill me in on a few things?

Do you think you'll be able to go inside a lot of buildings in this game?

Also, how is the gameplay? This new game makes it feel like a sandbox game kind of like GTA or Sleeping Dogs.... which is also a good thing. Forgive my ignorance if this is the case but as I said, I am oblivious to these type of games outside of actual sandbox games.

Yeah, go play Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, two of the greatest games of last generation.

I'd like her to be greener, but the overall far more realistic face looks great imo.
I do not share your opinion. Far more realistic look is only harms her image and style, not to mention the fact that she's not that attractive anymore with this far more realistic look 8(

Based on the last games? I doubt it. Buildings serve as dungeons basically, with the overworld getting more open world with each game.

Gameplay's the best part imo. Great, simple combat with lots of room for getting good. The stealth gameplay is great for experimenting. Exploration's pretty basic, but you sometimes get some cool puzzles using Batman's gadgets.
Not sandbox. Batman is an established character. There's just activities and side missions of various levels of fun to play around with. I think that answers you're questions, just say if you want to know more.

I'd recommend playing the previous games. They're great.

Holy motherfucking amazing balls to the walls. Those are the words that came to my find when I watched this and I am so damn hyped. Can not wait for my batmobile edition.

I agree, and it's largely because of the art direction of Gotham itself. It just looks fantastic.

Have the portrayal of the Riddler basically been the Joker lite?
What? No, not at all. In these games at least Riddler's an egotist focused on nothing else but being the smartest person in the room. Joker just wants everything to go down the toilet.

Has anyone checked out the prequel comic?

Seems AK has been following/observing Batman for awhile, which suggests that its not anyone that appeared in AC. If it is an established character, my money would be on Damien.

I thought I didn't care about Arkham asylum leading up to its release, but then they released a demo and i figured I'd see what all the talk was about so downloaded it and I was wowed. Hadn't really played anything of the sort until then. Then went and put down a pre-order.

So now Arkham knight is the game I'm most looking forward to this year.

Yeah for open world no doubt.

Very nice looking, although the blockiness of everything does remind of its other UE3 predecessors.

Story looks like the usual cluster. Arkham City story was very corny.

First tragedy, then farce.
Arkham Knight
seems like a pretty by the books tropey Batman character. It's like how Superman runs into another Supes who turns out to be a bad guy.

That said, I really can't see what makes this guy different from Red Hood or Wrath or Azreal

Hmmm, maybe beacuse
he's working directly with the villains? Although Red Hood kinda did that.

IMHO the only reason they're using a new character instead of Red Hood is so they can do a cool identity reveal (It's probably Tim Drake...)

Looks great, but my hype is in check until I see what new villains are in the game, I don't count Arkham Knight. Give me Professor Pyg, Man-Bat, Talons and the like, I don't give a hoot what Harley Quinn is up to.

Seriously, so far it seems the Arkham Knight
is a carbon copy of Red Hood/Jason Todd. If it's the case, why bother creating a new character?

Well the fact is
Red Hood is also in the game. So there's gotta be something different. Or at least hopefully.
