Being able to include 32/64GB stock sizes means an SD slot is only going to be used by a tiny fraction of users while adding cost and thickness. Same thing with modern batteries.

So...Samsung can charge disproportionate premiums for the difference between memory models.

I can currently pick up a decent named 64GB class 10 SD card for £20. If that's antiquated tech and I'm backwards for wanting that choice, then consider me backwards

I got a 64gb OPO for $50 more than the 16gb variant, maybe Samsung won't gouge on storage upgrade pricing? If the price differences are $50, that would be fine.

To be fair, I have to imagine most things stored on an SD card are smaller files that don't need that kind of speed. For me, it's trying to carry 10,000+ songs with me so I don't have to worry about network speed/availability and paying for a better data plan. I admit that it might not bother me as much if manufacturers stop using absurd pricing tiers with storage.

This conference needs more steam. But they definitely pulled through with the design of this iteration.

Difference I think is that Samsung is using Gorilla glass on the back as well. Which I don't think Apple did.
