Probably smarter for this. The backlash for the nonremovable battery, no SD card slot, and STILL refusing to actually improve speakers on the phone will be immense and will cause Samsung to shift again.

Again, not if you have any interest in VR. Coupled with that small battery though may not have been a great idea, unless if they worked some magic.
After these reveals I'm thinking of just doing the same for my Note 2 lol.

Yeah huge disappointment having a removable battery and sd card slot is the only reason samsung phones are worth buying.

The could put a larger battery in the VR headset and have it wirelessly charge the S6 when it's put in the cradle.

No removable battery and no microSD is going to piss off a lot of Samsung fanboys (at least if they're consistent lol), along with metal and glass that's "less durable" than plastic
The QHD 5.1" screen + 2550mah battery makes battery life a very fair concern at this point. I guess it remains to be seen how efficient the new Exynos is.
32gb base storage is nice
Samsung pay will fail horribly lol
From me: This definitely looks like a big step up from the S5. Better designed, way better looking. 32gb base storage is nice. Hopefully TW is scaled back (still looks horrible compared to stock Lollipop). Camera looks nice, and OIS is a plus. Hopefully screen has good brightness. HR sensor still won't ever be worth using, and fingerprint scanner hopefully works a little better this time. Very worried about battery. I still think the M9 is better designed and better looking, and the 1080p+Snapdragon 810+HTC Sense+2840mah combo will probably be too much for Sammy to overcome battery life and performance-wise.
Oh, and they definitely took some blatant design cues from Apple (as they do every year; gold color+finger prints right after the 5s? totally not copying guize lololol)
Ultimately, I'll withhold final reservation till I use both. Sticking with my 6+ until the 7+ anyways but I'm still a huge nerd about this stuff.

Only Samsung could offer an MST solution with magstripe liability being flipped in 7 months. Nobody is going to be doing swipe and sign past that date.

I don't know how I feel about the S6. No removable battery, no waterproofing, and no microSD card are all huge deal breakers for me. I'm looking to finally upgrade from my S3 since it's showing it's age, but I'm strongly considering going with a different company.
Xperia Z3 looks pretty cool, but I'd rather get a 2015 phone. Any rumors on a Z4 release date? My S3 is still working fine so I figure I could get a few more months out of it if there was something worth waiting for.

gorilla glass is highly scratch resistant. It isn't particularly more break-proof, afaik.
phone front screens are gorilla glass, still they break like crazy.

Although the Edge screen seems gimmicky. Not sure I'll really use it, and I really hope it doesn't kick off just by me holding it.
SD card and removable battery are two huge reasons I bought the S5...not to mention I really seem to recall Samsung using those as marketing points.
Really disappointed they got rid of those features. Will not be getting an S6...hopefully they realize how stupid they are and bring them back in the S7 :/

They didnt explicitly mentioned it or made reference of how much improved it is over S5. Just some diagram iirc.
I also like the fact that you can check the time without having to lift up the phone.
