I know a few crazy JRPG fans (mainly Souls and Persona) than I get it why they bought a console but they did that because they did not have a other choice, everything else they play on their pc.
Console is like fast food, cheaply made and doesn't need much effort and can get you fed up but taking some time preparing your own meal is just generally better.
Nobody bats an eye if you play on consoles but if you talk literally trash without any facts or evidence it helps no one.

I have to admit I'm one of these PS4 has no games
that I want to play
people. I played TLoU remake which was amazing, and FIFA 15 (which sort of doesn't count), but that's it for major releases. But then again the XBONE doesn't have a single game I'm interested in either. Can't someone give me a 2D Castlevania with HD sprites!? It doesn't have to be Castlevania - I'd be fine with something in the Mega Man X series too!

Man you have bad luck when it comes to picking favorite games. Anyway would love to see something like this but you probably just need to keep an eye on indies because Capcom and Konami are done with them. Also HD sprites are apparently super expensive to produce.
 
I love how this console vs PC argument comes up every time PS4 sales figures are announced.

I'm just glad the console I decided to buy this time around is getting good market penetration.

I'm a former PC gamer, but I'm 40 years old now with a full time job and a household to run. I want to pop a game in and play it. Not mess with settings and crashes and drivers and compatibility issues.

I swear back when I gamed on the PC I spent more time messing with settings and drivers than I actually did playing games.

If you'd rather play on a PC, great, I'm glad you're happy with the experience, and I'm sure the games look beautiful if you've got good specs - I just don't understand why you've got to bash folks who play on console.

I'm mostly joking around, but I do feel left behind by gaming.

The indies are OK... But I still don't feel like they have the same polish and quality of the old Japanese 2D games. I feel like they try too hard to create unique visual styles or gimmicky gameplay experiences. This feels flat in the end. Really, not much tops Ninja Gaiden 2 (NES).

what I don't get is exactly what these salty pc master race trolls think they are doing in these sales threads, "educating" poor peasants about the virtues of pc....
Everyone has a PC, it's not some huge secret you can play games on it. Some people just don't want to , is that really so hard to understand? It's hilarious.

the 30 million milestone probably won't happen till the end of the year. 25 million on the other hand... a lot of us have speculated that's a possibility by e3.

THIS. so much. like, I understand and acknowledge that PC has the best hardware which means best graphics and gameplay capabilities and what not, but... it entails often spending hundreds of dollars for upgrading equipment, by often I mean even 2-3 years, AND I'm not really interested in PC exclusive games. the games I identify PC with most are mmos - wow, lol, etc. they're remarkable and legendary but I'm much more interested in playstation games and like you suggested, I also like not having to play games on my computer. I know I can, but that's kinda why I bought a console.

and I know everyone's not gonna agree with me and that's fine obviously, you'll never get the whole gaming community to agree that playstation has the best games, or xbox or nintendo, or PC. i'm just saying, it is of my opinion. being primarily a PC gamer means missing out on playstation exclusives. no thanks.

kinect for 360 was a success but it didn't really accelerate console sales, did it?
