Is it really milking when Rock Band 3 was easily the best plastic instrument rhythm game ever?I didn't even know there was a Rock Band 3. Man everybody really milked that genre.

Nice. Would be great if we could import 360 -> PS4 as well.
So are RB2 songs exported through RB3? I never got RB3, so I'm assuming I would need to in order to export the RB2 songs into RB3?

I personally checked out due to the overexposure before Rock Band 3 even came out. I think that was the poster's point.
Expanded the game? Sure , in " incredible ways " ehh, I think you're reaching there . that's like saying Madden 15 expanded from Madden 14 in incredible ways.Every single RB expanded on the game in incredible ways without changing the core experience: challenges, expanded tour, better multiplayer features, etc.
Why would this be any different?
Yeah, kind of a non-choice, but I have too much stuff to abandon. One thing that sucks is I now have to pay tax on Xbox DLC where I never did before. That and I sold my stockpile of discounted points cards when RB3 DLC ended![]()
I fully blame Activision.

Sorry , I just don't see a reason why this exists.

Q: What are the new features?
A: Were not quite ready to reveal the evolutionary features of Rock Band 4, but were excited to show you in the coming months how were expanding the core gameplay you love.
Sorry Harmonix, but I already moved on to Rocksmith...
Wont be returning to RB...
Me too, Harmonix released plenty of games too (when you include spin-offs) but at least they innovated with the main games in their series, released a tonne of extra songs and made everything as backwards compatible as possible.
True, but at least Harmonix tried new stuff with every mainline game that wasn't just a random gimmick. The only real 'Activision-style' games they released were Green Day and Lego. And then check that Harmonix released around the same amout of games...
Re-buying thousands of songs > $350Thousands of songs on 360.
But now only PS4.
I don't like the RB guitars, only like my GH Metallica guitar.
All my friends are on PS4 only now.
No clue what to do.
We really are taking the long view and positioning Rock Band 4 as the Rock Band for this console generation. We think we can support our audience through a series of title updates and content updates that expand the feature set over time as a function of [the] dialogue we have with our community
This quote from Sussman is promising:
Please dear lord through some witchcraft let 360 to PS4 transfer possible
Wonder if they have a decent shot to show up during Sonys E3 presser now that he is over there? He's w/ Sony.
"John Drake is the Director of Portfolio Strategy at PlayStation. He was formerly the Director of Publishing & PR at Harmonix."
I have both PS4 and Xbox one but I'm still really bummed there is no cross platform transfer. All my friends I played RB with online with on 360 all moved to PS4.Thousands of songs on 360.
But now only PS4.

Can I dream about a Extreme Metal-only dlc? I want to play Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Sodom, etc![]()
