lol, so MS messed up. They obviously should have made RB4 an X1 launch title. >_<
I think they could get away with a $500 bundle with the Band-in-a-Box and the system this holiday. Retailers will hate em though lol

I agree with you 1000%. We only need one because we know Harmonix won't over-saturate the market. This is a horrible year for me to go back to school. Now I need to pick up a X1 for all my dlc, I spent close to $200 and I wont let that go to waste.

Yeah, I have no idea why they'd have to do anything by hand. The only way I can see that really being necessary is if they didn't design their data structure for the songs with this much backwards compatibility in mind. It does seem like they'd have to test each song in live conditions to make sure it all seems right.
I would at least want one Guitar Hero as I find their guitars superior over the Rock Band guitars. The Warriors of Rock guitar is almost perfection to me, and I am still using it after more than four years.

If it's like fightsticks and wheels, it's safe to assume nothing will work unless Harmonix/MadCatz release some new hardware solution like that third party TitanOne device.
As long as I can use my Roland kit, I'll probably break and buy the new rev.

They're probably doing more rigorous QA checks on the tracks to avoid some of the issues that plagued RB3 early on, like the notorious save-killing glitch that happened when you played a song in Career from an act with too many letters in their name. Granted, that was more on the game's end than, say, Texas Flood, but I would certainly like a smooth launch this time around.

All a Rock Band account would do is let them know which DLC you own (which, arguably, they know already, or could easily know with a patch to Rock Band 3). The issue with cross-transfer is an issue of negotiating with Sony, Microsoft, and the record labels.

This one was the pinnacle to me, but yeah, the Activision hardware was much better than Harmonix's.

as there is usually a fallout boy song on a release from them, and the lyrics fit a come back decently "some legends are told, some turn to dust or to gold, but you will remember me, remember me for centuries."
there is even references to heavy metal breaking their heart in the song
I'm sure some people would prefer a more classic rock theme, but I feel they will likely be full of pop rock to make it feel fresh and new.

I am pretty sure you will not get Beatles on Rock Band 4. They doesn't work for Rock Band 3 either. I think that was one of the deals they had to make for the game to become a reality. They didn't want other characters/performers singing and playing as The Beatles.
