We've gotten confirmation several times that you can get the demo code by digitally purchasing Type-0 HD. It just has to be within around a month's time according to SE.

Kinda weird that they haven't even gotten a page up for the game on digital storefronts yet, though. I'm getting it physically, but I know at least one person who plans on getting it digitally and bellyaches about not being able to digitally pre-order.

When he makes the spear rotate from hand to hand, passing behind the back... truly amazing stuff.
People should really give Type-0 a shot. It's a good game. It also will give people a taste of Tabata's style.

I'll still try to buy Type-0 digitally though, so I have a demo reserved for me in case I get a PS4 sooner than expected.

I think as long as it fits the central theme of the story it can be whatever, if it's a love theme, fine, if not, whatever. I am an admitted sucker for cheesy love themes though.

FFXV looks better on PS4, the same will hold true for Type-0 HD.
I don't even know if they showed off Type-0 HD for XBOX One yet lol.

It was. This demo is unpolished, trimmed and rushed, running in an unfinished engine.
For better or for worse, one thing we can say for damn sure. This is not the final graphical quality of the game.
I think SE still might be in the "Xbox is more popular in the NA market" mode still. When that's not the case.
Just look on amazon. While not indicative of sales FF type 0 HD is number for on the amazon Best sellers in video games.
I have yet to see an "open world" game (that's what they're calling it) on PS4 look as good as the October Walkthrough video, and that includes TW3. I think it'll look better by release date but I'm not expecting it to look that good.

I think it's fine as long as they implement it very sparingly. If its in every hunt then it'll be annoying as hell.

I don't even think it's very viable to have it in every hunt. At least not if we have as much hunts as FFXII (or even XIII).
That being said, I do hope every hunt is as hard as this one seems to be.

Eh, did you forget that only the XBOX logo was shown for many FFXIII NA commercials?
EDIT: If you mean marketing in Japan, then yeah, Sony is considered first.

I'll play it, no doubt. I have no hype for it whatsoever, but I'll be surprised if that doesn't ultimately work in its favor.

Seems like it. The only thing we know so far is that the summon is as big when you summon it as he is when you fight it.
Also, I hope we have a confirmation of how summons work in small areas as soon as the demo hits. Inside the cave specifically.

By the way, I somehow really hope that FFXV finally alienates the old, conservative FF grand(pas/mas) that are whining ever since FFVII days for good

EDIT2: Almost forgot the guys who think that older FFs' turn-based battles were super strategic and engaging (lol), which they absolutely weren't outside of boss battles, and call FFXV's mindless button-mashing in comparison.

Perhaps you can use their power somehow through Noctis, like buffs or a special attack (I mean inside caves and stuff). In open areas I believe we'll actually see them in action destroying everything lol.
That would actually work quite well. Also would make summons take on a different purpose when used in boss battles.

I think they mentioned armors already. But I doubt it'll be visible in-game, I cannot remember a single FF that did that, and XV specifically had the main character's clothes designed by Roen, so I doubt they'd change that.
unless Roen does all the characters armor FOREVER!

They've been dragging their feet on actually making it available to preorder though, yeah.
