No, just no.
Well, it's Remedy... so... perfection takes time.

I don't think they ever said 2015, so no problem. Early 2016 could be good window for sales and attention.
There are so many ways to access the internet without a PC now, and we all know this. Say hello to your cell phone. Or tablet. Or Mac.Well, it's Remedy... so... perfection takes time.

Guys guys, I write stuff for Microsoft and give some support but that's it. Don't take me for some Microsoft director or something lol.

I think you're giving this more credibility than it deserves.

Is anybody even hyped for this game? I kinda forgot it existed because nobody's talking about it.
Oh come on. Not everyone has gaming PCs. Of course Ori takes less to run than other games, but removing "exclusive" because of being on PC is a bit ridiculous. That even removes many of Sony's exclusives since a lot of them are indie titles. Add in some titles being available on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well as their next-gen counterparts and that makes barely anything exclusive to XB1 and PS4. I'm guessing that console warriors will just keep changing what "exclusive" means to help their arguments. *shrug*
EDIT: Yup... this conversation moved to Ori. Sorry.
Mac at work, iPhone at home.
I think you´re LTTP.
Generally the whole point of bringing up exclusivity is the implication that you're going to need to buy a console for this game. Without that implication there is no reason to care about exclusivity.
They promised a lot with Alan Wake graphically and gameplay-wise as an example. There's always huge hype around their games, but it's mostly them hyping it up to Lionhead levels or just below.I mean, no.
Well exclusive has a clear definition, but the more you expand the range of exclusivity the less meaning it has. I can say that Arkham Knight is exclusive to PS4, XB1 and PC. That's true... but there's no reason to point it out. If something is XBox/PC exclusive, all that means is that I don't have to go buy a new console for it. I already have a PC. I'm not sure what Ori's requirements are, but I'm guessing that most people that are aware of a game like Ori have a non-ancient PC. Could be wrong, I dunno.

Thanks for finding that out. Smart decision either way, too many rushed AAA games with missed potential. Want them to find the best variety in combat scenarios and mechanics interplay.

Order 1886 delay.
Most console gamers don't have gaming rigs. That doesn't mean they can't play games on PC, but those gamers are going to be choosing PS4 or XB1 (maybe Wii U as well), and what's exclusive to consoles is generally more important to buyers in the console market. Of course many GAF'ers have gaming PCs (myself included), but we are the hardcore.
Good thing the game delivered! It's one of my all-time favs.
I still don't think exclusive should be applied unless it's on one console.
Otherwise you have to count all those PS4/PC games And PS3/Vita/PS4 titles as exclusives also which just makes things messy.
Ori is not anymore exclusive than FFXIV

In my eyes "console" exclusives that share a release with PC are exclusive because I and all my friends don't game on PC. Games like Ori, FF14, and SF5 don't even exist on PC in my eyes.I still don't think exclusive should be applied unless it's on one console.

Last I checked, Windows is a Microsoft platform like Xbox is, its only available on their platforms, the same way Helldivers is only on Sony platforms.
Ori is an exclusive, unless of course Helldivers isn't a Sony exclusive either
Ori is a microsoft exclusive while Helldivers is a Playstation exclusive.

Huh Ori?? Don't tell me I'm about to post in the wrong thread for the second time today?
Which is why MS is rebranding their PC games to the Xbox brand. Then it would be an Xbox exclusive.

They'd be insane not to put it on Steam
It'll be on steam though.

It's on steam, but going forward MS is trying to make Xbox one brand across PC and Console.
