this macbook is the new industry gold standard. (heh.)
People are going to bash it for having only one port now, calling it form over function, but other manufacturer's will follow suit.

full size USB is the new Ethernet and VGA. Apple just killed it on any device that wants to call itself an ultraportable

If you think Ethernet and vga are dead thenyou don't work in corporate America.

Not to familiar with type-C, but wouldn't this not fit for a lot of devices which uses the standard USB?

It's the new standard USB type port going forward. It'll be on everything (not just apple stuff). A little annoying now as we transition over but it will be nice once everything uses the same fast reversible cord.

Hmm, than my question is: would type-C work with older ports?

Where are the rest of the ports? Of course Apple had to do something but c'mon. That resolution seems off for some odd reason because 1440 by 2560 is what I'm used to. However, this macbook eliminates the ripoff that was the standard MBA.

The smaller logic board hopefully means that future retina MacBooks are upgradeable.

This device has to cost at least $1400 maybe $1600, in my opinion.

Got really excited there. Thought he was gonna say 4G.

I'm probably an exception, but I would kill for that feature. I need to tether a lot.

1.3 GHz? Nope.

Also, with all of this "no ports" vision they should have several adaptors into one.

I agree that a portable doesn't need a bunch of ports but having to have 3 or 4 adaptors is not my idea of fun.

Again, hopefully Apple knows this when it comes to the Pro model.

Nice looking notebook, but these are some heavy compromises...

I want this thing sooooo badly omfg Its beautiful
