But the way they treated Hikari in the final battle pissed me off. She stood up to freaking Myotismon before, she was ready to die to save her family and friends. Gatomon lost her best friend to him. Yet Gatomon says almost nothing after identifying the voice as Myotismons and Hikari (and Takeru who had faced darker beings as well) were 'frozen in fear'.

That will never stop pissing me off whenever I think about it. I like 02 (which I usually mention in these discussions) but man, some of the stuff they did annoyed me so much. Even more so now that I've watched the whole series in both EN and JP.

Lack of Character development, the way some characters were treated, the dropped plot points or character flaws, etc.

Annoys me so much. Hope Tris writer is good/consistent at least.

Yeah I get the whole dark-light thing, but they did a dumb job with it.

Considering other characters, it was annoying when Takeru got random pissed off. The way they did it with him was just so.... random and out of character. Not much of a build up either.

02... it was still enjoyable as a watch thru subbed but geeze still many annoying stuff. The scanning of the "bar code" of the dark seed still bothers me, too.
 
Every time I see this thread bumped I check in excitement to see if there's something new and yet there never is. :( I hope we get something soon because the site stuff is tiring.

You can get IP banned for that, I did once. It went away after a week or two but still..

edit: count is currently at: 221101

It's gone down about 80k in the last 24 - 48 hours. It should be done within a week I think.

This has become the pseudo digimon-community thread, checking with the will will probably be your best bet on keeping up with digimon related announcements.

Hey, give us some credit. I'll post Digimon news here ASAP once I see it. (I check reddit and wtw a lot as well :P ) as will others I'm sure so this thread is still a good bet to check for announcements.

If there was significant news, a new thread will probably be posted, like how this thread was made for the poster.

I suppose we could always make a Digimon OT, but I have a feeling it wouldn't last long without the Tri hype backing it.
 
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Nade Nade is(was?) for the rest of the portraits.

However, I don't think they realized how much PicoDevimon would slow it down, so it might be for a different thing now.

My experience with this tells me that it will be the rest of the portraits, though. They don't want to be giving us too much information. :P

Haha, fair enough. Blame Toei, they aren't giving us much so we're just chatting while we wait for more info.

also current attack rate has us at: 186004

So yes, we're going down very fast now.

Digimon Adventure (movie) was released (not sure if shown on TV or not, might have been though) on 6th of March 1999 and the series began on 7th of March 1999.

It's 4:09am on the 8th of March in Japan.

Some fun trivia.
 
Looking at the pre-orders for the plushies ... The shipping prices are crazy !( Either the same price as the plushies or more!)... Anybody found a cheaper place to order ? The crests I'm going to order from a shipping service instead - FromJapan was recommended last time I asked but are they the cheapest?

AmiAMi has both plush for below MSRP, so considering shipping will still be a hefty amount due to their large size, this may be the best option.

Yeah I saw them... But I didn't want to risk shipping being crazy expensive nearer to release date and the fact that I always get hit with import fees which will be around £20-£15 on top =(

Current rate means we should be done by Wednesday, Thursday if things slow down but history has shown, the lower the number, the quicker the attack rate/nade nade rate (I kinda laugh when people say the attack thing is nade nade when they don't even use the term when attacking Picodevimon)

So we're more likely to finish Wednesday or sooner than Thursday/later.

Nade is a shortened version of grenade, so it all works out.

I think people (including me) call the whole thing nade nade, because it's just a thing to call it. The main goal is to rub the eggs until they hatch. It doesn't help that the term is burned into your brain after doing it so much.

Charge to revive
Charge to get special digivolution items

I know, I just find it funny cause quite a few people probably don't know what nade nade means (It's basically the sound of rubbing something. You can just translate it as rub rub or something). Iirc, you hear Hikari/Takeru say it near the end with the eggs in Primary Village. I also blame that on using nade nade in engrish on the website lol. (rub or something like that would probably be more appropriate).

We're not nadenadeing, we're attacking the living hell out of that bastard, demidevimon. Just like we did Sukamon.

I suppose people like saying things like "boom", "ding-ding", and "bang" in English though.

Languages are weird.
 
So is there a reason nade sped up or is it them artificially raising the numbers?
Also yh it's overpriced as hell but I think the plushie is on the lower end - Disney plushies go for more =/. Either it's huge or the websites are unsure and so are charging ridiculous shipping fees with that though =(.

When learning Japanese, you figure out quickly that onomatopoeia's are a big thing in their language.

I've never seen the "making out sound" before. It seems oddly accurate, lol.

Also, PSA: Imperialdramon Paladin mode is getting a US release.
