ALL 8 Digimon have their old VAs (Palmon's is the same but with a different stage name) and there will be new recordings of Butterfly/Brave Heart done by their original artists.

It would be awesome if we get a thread title update by a mod. If not, I think we do a thread when a new egg is up so we benefit from the newcomer's clicks. Hehehehe.

I was trying to resurrect Vamdemon as the villain(again), but I guess this is better than nothing...

All the VA's being back for the Digimon is amazing news.

Eh, this poster is great but not thread wrothy.. .AS stuart said, lets just wait until the trailer releases or move dicussion to a Digimon community thread or something - This thread has been active enough recently to warrant that I guess?

New poster looks great. The only real news is the Brave Heart/Butter-fly part, though. All the Digimon VAs returning was to be expected. Honestly, the only VA question mark is who will voice Takeru, but I'm expecting his 02 VA (Taisuke Yamamoto) to return.

I slip in and out of English and Japanese names. Sometimes I'll say Gatomon and Vamdemon in the same sentence or I'll call Taichi "Tai", but everyone else by their Japanese names.

I'm sure that makes things crystal clear for people.

I vote that we have a Digimon Tri OT when the anime starts to air and that the OT has a translation list for people who are used to the dub names.

I use both depending on which version I am talking about (ENG or JP) though I also sometimes use it based on preference (like I like both Kari and Hikari but Hikari has become my default recently when talking about her)

Also thank you mods for the title change (sorry btw, I asked for this title because I couldn't think of a good one)

Well, Jou has his 02 glasses, the magazine bio of Yamato mentioned he and Takeru got their blond hair from their French grandfather (a 02 story point), and the name is Digimon Adventure Tri, so I don't think 02 is being ignored (the epilogue probably will be). The question is more if the 02 characters will show up or not.

Savers Agumon's voice was what bothered me the most.

I hope Ken shows up. I like Ken. He wasn't The Worst.

As a crest holder, there is no reason why he wouldn't be up there with current 8.

I'd like them all to show up in some form. Daisuke gets some hate from people, but he matured a lot over 02. I'd like for Daisuke, Ken, Miyako and Iori to all get at least something. 02 wasn't the best show, but there's room for the characters to be used.

Daisuke was the same from the start of the series until the end. Ken's character was always the focus, you might as well as say that he is the main character of 02

It was a mediocre season before it fucked with peoples ships in the finale, then everyone hated it

Davis and Ken were pretty good together - Diaboromon 2 has some good examples of this, even if that film is ultimately kind of lame - but Davis alone, or worse, David with Tai, wasn't really that bearable.

Also yeah, Ken is on the level, he's got a crest! The fuck use are the other three. Oh, you have a lame egg, whoop-de-doo.

EDIT: Takeru should have been the main character in 02. Think about the experience he has. How hasn't he reached Ultimate yet on his own?
