Destiny has content that was cut from the game that may or may not be dlc in the future. Like the cutscene with queens brother. So I referenced the raiders of the lost ark and turned it into lost content. Like the people who keep glitching into dlc areas.

I agree with both of you and I want more content in HoW and I wanted even more content in TDB than what we got. And I would pay more to get more.
The grindy nature of destiny also makes the lentlgth of the content feel worse IMO than if you only played it once.
But can I ask... Compared to other DLC was TDB for $20 really lacking so much content? Can anyone give me some examples of other DLC that had a lot more for your money?
I rarely think DLC is worth it, so the only thing that I really have to compare is the one that I bought because it was a lot of content. It was $5 and basically doubled the game:
I know that Destiny is much more complex, and I suspect that now that they have a better handle on where they want the franchise to go, they will be able to step things up.
That's the 2000th time a Heavy weapons engram turned into The fuckin Cure !
Ah well atleast this one has void and tracking, but only one rocket !!
This is how the rocket launcher situation is in this game, except for three Rocket Launcher every single one is shit (yes even Dragon's Breath because of its slow speed and no tracking, but it can be argued that Dragon's Breath has a different kind of purpose unlike the other three i.e. Ballerhorn, HoC and Truth).
The reason why they are shit is because tracking is pretty much essential and you can never really get a launcher with tracking and more than 1 magazine size. The Radegast Fury can have field scout and tracking but it's purely based on RNG.

Of course this is my opinion and it varies for everyone . I just dont feel the backward strike maps, 2-3 ish backwards missions are not worth the price. The only thing that felt really new was the short raid, and ~35% of the missions. The whole raid feels lazily designed. I do like the bridge encounter but after that..mehh. The Dark Souls DLC Artois of the abyss, GTA DLC, RDR Undead Nightmare had great DLC for the price.

It seems like Dragon's Breath could have been a great choice for Crota to stop his shields from regenerating, but the lack of tracking and velocity makes it horrible to use there
I agree on Rocket Launchers. I once rolled a Void Exodus Plan, which had 2 shells, tracking and clown cartridge. It was RNG and a good launcher but it had mediocre Blast Radius. I always felt I a bit lacking because of this. I later got Truth which was good, but not a vast improvement in PvE. Hezen was okay, but had no tracking.
Then I got _that_ weapon. And it was basically that, or Hezen when I needed an exotic elsewhere. Didn't get HoC until last Feb or so. Which yet again, is Solar.
There isn't much choice in the RL class. Bungie dropped the ball on Dragon's Breath. Its again Solar and it has way too shitty velocity to be considered usable. Low velocity + no tracking is avoid.
Love the thread title - makes me want to break out of the map with some distant hope of finding some locked away developer area they left in where all the plot and Gjallys are stashed. Stagger into some dark tunnel and every three feet you get a 20 minutes cutscene explaining what the fuck is going on and an exotic drop you've never had before
and then your character wakes up, level 7, strapped to a table in Dr. Rahool's laboratory while his twisted engram-stained fingers work furiously, tweaking tiny finicky things inside your head until everything dissolves back into black. The word "weasel" echoes distantly...
So I have a Badger with AP rounds. Is that useful? It also has explosive, which are much more effective in PvE so far. I haven't managed to note any effectiveness trying to follow enemies behind cover. Are they only useful on snipers?
It's a beautiful shader, got it a few weeks back myself. Looks kind of silly with the dead orbit cloak so I dont really wear it :/ I guess I should probably give up on ever getting bittersteel or revanent eh?

AP is only useful on snipers. And after the nerf, not what they used to be. Explosive rounds don't affect your crit damage at all but it boosts your body shot damage by over 33% if I recall correctly, as well as doing some tiny AoE damage to nearby enemies. It's a great perk to have on a scout.

That's the vibe I've been getting. Haven't taken it into PvP yet, but I figured I ought to be able to hit a dreg behind a thin chunk of wall and I couldn't so I won't be counting on it. It's a shame.
And yeah I know about explosive rounds - they feel great for anything tier 1 though. I won't be using them in PvP.
Congrats on making an OT Todd. Where's Kor though? Did he bow out of OT making or was he just MIA when we hit post cap?
Also, good job on the title. BAFTA was nice and would've been the best if we still burnt through OTs in a week like we used to. Since this OT will maybe last a long ass time, the joke would make a little less sense halfway through
Anybody have/know of a list of those number-crunchy reddit threads? I like getting into the nitty gritty details. I've tried going on reddit but I haven't figured out how to filter out the other stuff yet.
Yeah he has been doing that almost every single time I did Crota HM over the past few days. I wonder if Bungie has a switch that they flip on for "working as intended mode"..
