BLOODBORNE Spoiler Thread (read OP)

I dont know how to buy this game right now, I could use some advice

If I buy digitally through the US store, it will allow for pre-load and I would be able to play it on wednesday 09:00 AM I think. Ill have to use my credit card for this which Im not a fan of.

If I buy digitally in the European store, I have to pay a bit more, and there is no pre-load if Im right. But the game launches on the night from tuesday to wednesday at 00:00 at night.

Or I could buy a physical disk, but Id rather have a digital version so I can boot it up whenever I want and leave BF4 in my disc drive ( the only physical game I have ). Id have to wait to purchase the physical edition until stores open wednesday at 09:00.

So I'm really not sure how to buy this game, all I know is I'd rather play it at midnight from tuesday night on.

Instead of using your CC on the PS store, buy US prepaid cards on Amazon and get the game digitally.
 
It looks like I have the day off on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. I might cancel my Amazon order and just go pick it up in the morning from Target or something so I can play all day.
 
I have no idea why it took me so long but i just realized how the warping system works. Initially I had thought it worked just like DS2 where you could warp anywhere from any lantern. This disappointed me because I felt that this lessened my intimacy with the world. Once I had beaten a level, I never really returned to it because I could just warp past it.

I just realized that you can only warp from the hub in Bloodborne, so warping will require first going to the Hinter's Dream and then going to your destination. I think this is actually a really good compromise as it will allow warping if the player wants to go somewhere very far away but also incentivizes just walking to your destination instead. I know it's been said again and again that the design on this game is basically Dark Souls with the Demon's Souls Nexus, but I just figured out what that actually means in practice.
 
My fav work thread, all images blocked, can't watch streams and basic impressions. Umbasa I'm going into this bad boy blind yet informed. Just wish my guide ETA was before the games release I want to see AGS and ENB hard work, the art work and The Big M interview.

I hope that if you're a fan of the Souls series and you aren't buying it day one, it's because of other reasons then waiting for reviews.

Because at this point, I'm not exactly sure what reviews could tell you that the impressions of Souls veterans haven't/could not.

that's probably what I'm going to do. I have to make a new amazon account because apparently stupid rules are stupid and if you don't have a US address you can't buy those prepaid cards. oh, I tied with other amazon stores but .com was the only one with $60+ cards.

I heard
waste of skin
was easy mode but no one elaborated on just why. I think it's due to the points allocation and lower starting level. Meaning you get a better chance at a specific build.
