I think I'll be passing on this, still have GoW3 and PS3, the game still looks phenomenal and runs at 60 frames. I don't think this version will look significantly better. Would love to be proven wrong.

Yeah, I kind agree. 60 dollars for remasters is generally never fair, except when a collection like Halo MCC.

Lots of crying about remasters in here. How many games from last gen have actually been remastered this gen? Serious question.

On top of my head. TLOU, GoW (now), Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider, Saints Row, DmC, MCC (though I don't know if include it), Metro, and I think I am forgetting some. Enough for people to say stop with them already. Mostly because almost all were multiplats that already had "definitive editions" on PC.

There wouldn't much difference between that in and last gen HD remake.

Those are old ass hell assets. It wouldn't be worth much.

If you really want to redo GoW2, a full remake, maybe using the GoW3 engine would be better.

The GoW3 engine seems to scale up better for the PS4.

Is there evidence of this? I know these decisions aren't black and white but I'd rather see devs come out with new stuff, even if it's not "the next big thing". We can play these games on those old consoles, or PS Now.
