In theory I don't really mind remasters although I do think they are flooding the market with them. That said I'm a hypocrite as I'd totally buy a Demon's Soul remaster day one. This game did look ridiculous last gen so I can only imagine how it'd look at 1080p with a higher frame rate.

These single game remasters are a bit disappointing. They averaged out to about $20 a game last gen.

Is the retail price actually higher than $20? That's really how much it should be, I mean both the 1+2 and Origins collections were $40 as you mentioned.

This remastered has no sense. And no, don't say "It's for people which didn't play the original on PS3", because GOW 3 is a final chapter of a trilogy, you won't understand NOTHING of it if you didn't play at least GOW 2. So people interested in GOW3 already played it. It would make sense a remastered trilogy, not GOW3 alone.

Mediocre to you maybe, all great games to the rest of us. This is weird news to be honest. GOW 3 was just a phenomenal ride from start to finish and still ranks as one of the best games from the ps3 era in looks, gameplay and the overall package. But, If it was a remake that would be great. But if it's just a 1080p 60fps then I'm not dipping again. Now give Warhawk and Starhawk and Mag and Kz2 the remaster/remake treatment and you've got my full attention. Oh and motor storm as well. Oh and yes Infamous 1 and 2 remaster as well please.

I don't have a problem if they remastered the whole collection of GOW games. Remastering a single game and charging full price rubs me the wrong way. Especially since MS/Sony are writing off backwards compatibility.
