Bleh. Not only have I played GoW3 a bunch of times, but Ascension has the most to gain from a remaster, performance wise, and had the better combat system imho.

I'm curious, how much do remasters/ports take away from a studio's development time and cost on a new game? I always see a ton of negativity towards remasters even when a studio is working on a new game.

OT: I guess that's a good choice for people who don't own a PS3. I have the anthology so I'll be skipping this.

Not only that, it's still one of the (if not THE) best looking PS3 game.

Resistance 3 is a game I see benefitting a lot from a remaster, not GOW3.

It's just not a good look. They just announced UC4 is being pushed back to next year, but now GOW3 is coming out in July? It's like, the new stuff is delayed but they've got time to bring back stuff that's already out. That's frustrating to some. Would be to me, but I'm all raged out now.

Already bought the original releases of the whole trilogy, the Pandora's Box edition of this one, the first HD collection and the Saga collection. Unless they end up bundling Ascension in there too, there's nothing here for me personally- hopefully some new first time Playstation adopters get the chance to play it and enjoy it.

It's kind of a bummer that this is coming so soon after the incredible deal of four remastered God of War games and a rerelease of 3 with all dlc and a month of plus for just $40, though- however much they charge for this is going to seem like too much, I think.

Didn't see a big difference in the video. Kinda bummed it doesn't jnclude ascension as I never played that one.

Hope it's not $60 but I'll definitely be getting this down the road because the game is incredible IMO.
