Should be in the PS4 system settings. I turned off all notifications, even trophies.

Feel a bit better about strength weapons after seeing how much poise damage they do. I was initially worried that they'd be too slow to effectively recapture your health.

It's not a patch, it's the initial download. Lots of games are doing this. On the game tile from the main screen click Options -> Information and it'll show you actual download progress.

Note sure what my Origin will be since I am going in blind. I've been lurking all the Bloodborne threads while trying my best to avoid spoilers. The hype is real though, and I'm doing my first PSN digital preorder for this game so I can get get maximum gaming time in.

Been playing since Saturday night. Game is effing awesome, I predict lots of 9s and 10s from reviewers, with most of the issues being small technical problems (long load times, some frame rate hitches). Servers aren't online yet so haven't tried coop, but me and a buddy have been hopping into party chats during our long play sessions and discussing strategies and routes. It's really neat to compare notes on that stuff - the levels are so big and interconnected in so many ways, that we frequently found ourselves reaching certain goals/areas but finding that we'd taken completely separate routes to get there.

Skill is for fast weapons, like the threaded cane, and will you will become more powerful with it as skill increases. Similarly, strength is for weapons like the axe, greatsword and Kirkhammer.

They're two different types of damage modifiers. Heavy weapons (axe, hammer, ect) will require a high strength and also scale with strength. While lighter weapons like the cane will require a higher skill and scale better with skill.

Is there a middle ground for leveling these stats as far as what you guys already know about Bloodborne? Should you focus on one particular stat or is it ok to level both Skill and Strenght at the same time to try out different weapons?

A surefire way to check if the twitter account is real or not is to make sure the account name is spelled correctly. This one is missing an i at the end, so probably fake.

Yeah, the only thing holding me back is fear that I would end up in a different server environment than my Swedish fellow hunters. But the WAIT. 24 hours, we can send probes to the moon in a fraction of that time. I am seriously considering a day off work for this.
