So I'm buying a PS4 for this game, haven't been following it all for fear of spoilers (and no desire to, since I can patiently wait for the game) and I have a question: am I going to need PS+ to engage in the multi-player aspects of Bloodborne?

Not by other players, no. Dark Souls 1 and 2 had random, CPU controlled invasions throughout the main game though- so one way or another you're probably getting hit.

Call customer service and ask about it. I was in your situation, then I called them and they said they straight up don't have the ce in stock, so there was no way I would've gotten it tomorrow. I cancelled the order and got it digital.

Forgot to mention, I called CS today around lunchtime and he reassured me it was coming tomorrow. I even got a follow up email saying,

"I can confirm that we still expect to ship your order in time to be delivered to you by GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE. "

Which could just be some kinda placating words to calm me for the time being. But I can still hope, right?

The Review in Progress is probably a good thing. They have to make sure the servers are operational on launch.
