You're right. But it's been a while since I played dark Souls. This is refreshing from all the other games I'm playing.

It's why these games are my favorite. The "Fuck YES" feeling you get when you dominate something that was previously dominating you.

Ok I swear to god these wolves man....I just feel helpless against them.

People were saying I could lead them to some building and cheese them through the door, but I'm talking about the wolves at the beginning section. Right after you beat the brick giant. I can't find the doorway people are talking about.

This is just so brutal because I can't turn in my souls or anything. So frustrating running this same path over and over without being able to do anything with the souls I get yet.

run past them. door should be on your left.

Anybody else keep pressing triangle thinking it's the button to go two hand and instead wasting all of their healing items? I swear every time I'm about to get in a fight I waste one blood vial on nothing.

What you at now Yoshi? 21 GB? 22? I'm on the edge of my seat :P

20,40!

Around 22 out of 30GB should be enough for the start of the game, right? :lol

I have to bitch about
Father G
yet again. This guy is fucking ridiculous solo. The thing is, the hardest thing about the
first form
is the camera and being blocked by all the tombstones or trees whenever I try to roll or quickstep. Then the
second form just starts going ape shit and won't even give me a second to heal once.
What a load of shit for the second boss.

Go back to the very first lamp and run up the stairs to where you came from at the start of the game. Talk to the woman behind the door. Not sure far in you have to be, I just killed Vicar Amelia.
wo, do you know what changes if you send them there instead of the Cathedral?

Like the dogs? Not the big furry gorilla werewolf monster? Those you just shoot.

The level design in this is so good so far. Up there with the best from Dark Souls 1. I love disorienting areas in Souls games where you can actually get lost.

If you locate the sewer area you can find an item called Madman's Knowledge that grants you an Insight point. Getting an Insight point opens up the ability to level up and customize weapons. Why most people say you need to reach the boss in order to level up is because discovering bosses also grants Insight points.

I havent got there yet but if you turn off auto camera adjust in the options does it help at all? I was meaning to try it for the first boss since the camera when locked on was really bad in that confined space.

For the first hour, yes. I had the same issue during the alpha.

I used all my healing potions by doing this.

Psst

When you reach the fountain area, go left instead of right. Break some boxes near the house with laughter coming out then go down. Look for a house, go upstairs and you'll be in the bridge, after the wolves, far from aggro

Is there a "hollow" state in Bloodborne? ie. The state I staid in fro 99% of my DS playtime
No such thing

Take the exit straight in front of the lantern, the one you're facing when you spawn. Hook around to the right, he should be in a corner over there. Let him kill you and see what happens.
oh, I know that spot. he's the fucking
invisible enemy that grabs you if you go there before killing the 3rd boss. am I wrong?

So I've been able to summon random people into my game, but how do I invite my friends?

Set a network password and then ring the bell in the same area?

I had a very tough time with them at first because I was trying to stun them by my gun. But when I gave up on that idea because it failed 2 out of every 3 tries I went with maneuvering by dashing to the right or the left whenever they start to move and now I can kill them so easily :)

Alright, so I gathered like 10k Blood Shards and gained 1 Insight level - went back to the Dream area and leveled up! Put points into Endurance, Vitality and Strength. Leveled up my Axe one level as well. Feels good, man.

So i have beaten Gascoine in my first try but i can't beat the cleric beast.
Any tips?

How does coop work by the way?

Seriously... I've used two beckoning bells but both times there was no one. :'( Waste of 2 insight.

Hmm maybe, never went there before the boss but that sounds horrifying.
he basically
grabs you, takes you quite high in the air, you get hit by frenzy and probably die after it. if you don't, he puts you back in the middle of the area. Zelda's hand-shaped enemies anyone?
that's literally one of those "what the ACTUAL FUCK?" moments.

this fucking game.

Amazon Canada just notified me that the ETA is 8th April & my finals are from 13th to 17th......

On the flip side, the second patch may be live by then.......

But still......

It'll be interesting to check out the pre-order DLC for this version.

This keeps happening to me and I hate it. I kind of wish they just left the healing items as a quick use item instead of giving them a dedicated button.

You can do a lot of damage to him by using your gun to interrupt his attacks. When he drags the axe on the ground, it's the perfect opportunity to shoot and riposte him.
Beastmode is just nuts though, good luck.

Be aware that the game doesn't let you start an online game unless you have the full install.

Yep! Fuck online for the first few hours though.

Shit I have to see this.... and yes.... this fucking game.

Welp, looks like Amazon fucked me. Me Collectors Edition is suppose to arrive by 7 today.... 1.5 hours and counting. Website still says "preparing to ship"........ shit.
I swear Amazon has been slacking lately. I've have lots of orders being delivered late. I'm a prime member too.
