So I suck at this game and I just decided to start farming and my starting weapon is at risk. Is there anything I can do. Haven't eaten seen the first boss yet...
 
Got the third boss down to about 10 percent on my first try, fat thumbed an item switch and died. I was getting hyped from possibly one shotting him.
 
This game is something else man. The sheer exhilaration that comes with every boss defeat is something not seen in gaming anymore.

And everything is fucked. Truly fucked. From read my mind in creating this wonderful product.

Is he the father of the kid who is looking for his mother? Has anybody tried using the music box in the fight? Quick guess is that it turns him back to his first form.
 
Holy difficulty spike. Am I even supposed to be here?

*mid to late game*
I killed Rom, the thing at the lake and it transported me to this cathedral. Things are two shotting me and my damage dramatically dropped.
 
Now I got to find out how to beat the
turret guy.
Can't even land a hit on this asshole without him killing me. He's way tougher than the first two bosses combined.

by not equipping the numbing powder thing. Couldn't stagger her out of the healing animation, but I barely managed to bash her down anyways - I guess crippling the arms stops her from doing it repeatedly? Something like that.

I did that fight without powder. Targeting body parts seems to stagger her for a V Attack

Go back to the Hunters Dream and see if the house at the top of the hill is open. If it is then you can use the workbench in there to repair your weapon. If it's not you need to get one point of insight to open it.

OK should I get the kirkhammer or the repeating pistol? I've got a nicely upgraded cane but I'm not a huge fan of the blunderbuss I have is the repeating pistol good for staggering foes? Can you shoot quickly with it?
 
Have you noticed how the werewolves say that you're the one who is cursed, and that "this town is done for?"

I get the feeling that maybe hunters are the real bad guys.

Somehow I think I made a loop around and wound up on a bridge with 2 of those werewolf things that murdered me.

Then another path I just found has this bridge area with 2 giants (not armored). I have trouble fighting large monsters in most games, feel intimidated lol...

Go back to that place where you turn left after breaking some boxes, but don't turn right after dropping. Go straight and left instead
 
Can anyone help? I'm at hunters dream and the doll isn't here anymore...got a bunch of blood to spend...

Edit: meh she was hiding on me. Crises averted.
 
Do you have to stay near the boss area to get summoned ? Or can you move around, i'd like to farm some while waiting to get summoned!
 
So I'm still wondering about a door in Central Yharnam. Like the first gate to the right side once you get out of the starting room. It says it's closed by a device which of course is on the other side. I have no idea how I get there though. Anyone?
 
To think that I doubted my weapon before release...I knew it was good but...Threaded Cane. Hnnnnng.
Just sliced Darkbeast Paarl to shreds like I was wielding a greatsword. The damage is amazing on my Cane + 6. Best weapon choice I ever made.

It's hard pointing direction in this game seeing as there's many possible ways of getting to a point. My advice is just explore the Cathedral area past the Grand Cathedral itself.
 
I found this weird glitch where if I walk backwards and forwards through two rooms I'm given 2048 souls. Video is uploading now if you guys want it.
 
The bloodstain bugs in this game are really bothering me. More than the load times, more than the juttering, more than anything else. The fact that my stain/the monster who had my stuff, should be there, but isn't. Drives me crazy. Lost about 50k blood so far because of it.
