Okay thanks! This is actually a great run.

Go to Central Yharnam, take left gate kill the 2 dudes there, go up the house, onto the bridge, kill the two wolves, and the fat guy+birds, take lantern at Great Bridge. Reverse order next time, and hit Central Yharnam lantern.

Gives 12 guaranteed vials per run, takes like 1min lantern to lantern.

Yep, it makes me hate that we dont respawn with 20, since you can get 20 with no effort.

So now I'm officially logging off of Bloodborne but I'll still be researching and chatting in these threads.

So today I progressed a good amount
  • Found new shortcuts
  • Familiarized myself with the way to the 1st boss (did not kill)
  • Familiarized myself with the way to the 2nd boss (did not kill)
  • Got to level 18 from 10 (all in Vitality right now: 17, other relevant stats Endurance: 14, Skill:13)
  • Fortified my Cane to +1
  • Got better with fighting, dodging, and parrying

Baby steps, hopefully tomorrow I can take on the C. Beast and take him out. I'm still trying to stock up on items and hopefully get myself to level 26 soon so I can have 20 Vitality and 20 Endurance. I'm hoping I can see a real increase in HP now with my new Vitality amount.

Edit: Just fortified my cane to +2 before I log off. Trying to use up echoes so I won't log in tomorrow and feel a bit rusty and lose the left overs

How do you Fortified your Cane?

hey i'm in the exact same spot!

fuck everyone in this place :(

For those bag guys that aggro after they suffer some damage, I just made them follow me and I would go through a small hallway that they cant get through and attack them with my whip!

If you have the cane, chance it to the whip and use the R2 attack, it staggers those bag guys.

I see, I'll search for that key.

how did you cheese that fight? I really can't kill him like this but I also don't want to kill her for the badge.
When he coats his sword in blood it drains his health. I had him follow me until he broke aggro (near the entrance) while his health was draining.

Oh man, too strong.

Did you review this game on your site too?

Holy crap I am awful at this game... I get about an hour a day to game cause I'm so busy w/ work and I didn't get past 1 fn checkpoint tonight... I can't for the life of me get past that big fire pit with all the guys surrounding it.... wow I suck so bad.

Hilarious. Just died on my very first enemy. This is going to be bad.

If you mean the werewolf you're supposed to (although you can kill it). If you mean the fodder enemies after you got your weapon and shit... well :p

I got past the werewolves in the bridge and went diwn and checked the next area. I didn't see any levers to open the big door or any shortcut making opportunities.

I'm about to turn it off for the night, but am I missing anything to do in that area?

he doesn't change stance after using the one that drains health? Lol. I'll try this.

You're not looking for a big door, you;re looking for a regular door that you can open on your own. It opens out into the area to the left of the lamp at the beginning of the area.

I went to the table in the house within the Hunter Dream. I picked up a some blood shards when I was learning my way around Central Y. You need echoes as well. Someone told me that fortifying your weapons increases it's power, they argued more so than putting points into certain stats but I do not know about that.

Im not taking about Rom for #1. Im talking about the Giant ass mother fucker In the Nightmare place.

Ah! Sorry. All I can recommend there is to take your shots very carefully — keep whaling on his arms until you stagger him. I would usually get in 3 or 4 visceral attacks to his face, which was a huge boon. That fight definitely took me a few tries!

I did that when I started the game. I sidestepped, hit it in the back with a charged attack and did the stun animation with bare hands. That killed it. I was amazed that it worked and felt pretty badass. You eventually have to die though and you don't get anything special for killing that thing.

Woohoo beat the first boss. On my second try (lvl 14) and used 10 vials... But I still did it. Man feels good. My souls experience consists of the first boss in demon souls and the cheesing of dark souls on the first one. Feels good.

Guys, I need help understanding what just happened. I was making my way through an area and ended up dying but
instead of going to the nearest check point or the Hunter' Dream I was sent to a prison.
Can anyone explain to me what happened?

spoiler for the sixth boss

After you beat the fifth boss ( the two witcher ) is there another boss to fight other than that big electric monster in the prison?

Just did my first jolly co-operation, helping a guy defeat Father Gasoline. Good times were had by all.

Quick question: how do you put in the password for the bells?
