Boy, I'm falling apart over here. I think I screwed myself by choosing a skill build, apparently you can only get the scythe at
NG+
. Fuck. I don't wanna use the cane, and it doesn't look like there's many other good skill weapons...I'd like to use ludwig's blade, but it'd cost me over 40000 echoes to use. I don't wanna restart, but... :(

I'm surprised so many people were poisoned by the third boss. Are you new players? I know better than to not stock up on antidotes the second they become available in souls games lol

So I walk into
Old Yarnheim or whatever it's called and I'm getting shot at by some dude on a roof forever away and a hunter is ripping me a new ass. Any tips on beating this area? I've died like 15 times in a row now. :/

There is a ledge to the right where you can avoid him and the other guy. You'll still have to avoid him but it's much more doable than going head on like you have. I know, I made the same mistake many times.

Hemwick might be one of my most favorite areas ever. The crooked trees, the
mad witches.
It's just fantastic stuff.

We are approaching OT 2 really fast already and the fact that certain mechanics and weapons are not already on youtube somehow makes me really stoked that we are still in the discovering phase. Has no one gotten the
'all weapons got'
-trophy yet?

Protip I saw in a video: you can aggro the werewolves on the bridge individually (or any enemy really) with a pebble

Use those pebbles people!

Ok so I defeated the third boss (stayed for a while to help some random people beat it). And I'm not sure if I went to the right place.

I went back to Cathedral Ward and the door that was closed before was now open. I took an elevator, killed some guys, kept going upwards but the door was closed. So instead of going up I went down and I got to a new place. I killed some guy and then came a tough enemy that killed me in like to 2 hits (though we did double K.O at least) and I woke up in a prison that is full of these guys. I cleared some areas and got to an electical boss who is kicking my ass.

Anyway. When I'm back at the main hub I now see a new tomb to teleport. Which gets me to that
prison I woke up in
. But it's the third tomb stone rather than the secon one and now I'm really confused if I just skiped something.

What door opened up? The one to the right of the Cathedral Ward lamp? I beat the boss of the area and it's still closed.

So, I honestly have no clue where I should be going. Just killed A
eric? Beast lady that transforms. Connected to the wheelchair man, but he just naps and whines about Laurence. Killed the witch already, etc etc. I honestly have nothing. Only place that's even open to go is the place that wants a password for the door, but I lack said password.

Quick question. I hopped into someone's bloodborne stream and there was an "interactions are available" button in the chat that had like 5 options to choose from. None of them seemed to do anything though.

Does this game have twitch interactions or was there just something weird going on? I have zero experience using twitch interactions.

I've died about forty times going into the sewers. I only just found out that that is NOT where the first boss is, but instead behind the two Wolves I keep avoiding atop the stairs. What a joke. Lol

Reaching the boss sucks too, don't like fighting the big guys already and there's a few stupid crows too.

Beat the Chalice Dungeon, got a root Chalice and man that one was EASY. Ran it in 1 try.

Anyone know how I can get a Short Chalice? Its required for easy co-op apparently.

I got the bell before even getting to the first boss, also was able to level up before getting to the boss, which apparently isn't supposed to be possible?
Me too. I leveled up my character a bit to feel more confident when facing the first boss again. Have no idea how I was able to do those stuffs haha.

Getting invaded was fun since it wasn't that bad dealing with only one person. Invading, on the other hand... Let's just say that it's kind of hard when you're dealing with two at once.

Is there a weight limit with inventory? Do I need to use storage to move faster? Is there item limit?

Is also worth leveling bloodtinge, and what kind of items does arcane use?

At +8 it has the following:

E STR
C SKL
A BLD
D ARC

It does normal damage and blood damage (so I guess blood is an element?)

It also has 30 rapid poison build up per hit

REQ: STR 10 SKL 14 BLD 12

Damn I was hoping that closer up that ARC would be a good build for it, but it stays at D even at 8+. . I was hoping for A at 10+

So despite my earlier rage I've come to the conclusion that Father G is in fact ezmode. Literally every single attack that he does in
beast form
is parryable, at least that's what I concluded.

Cleric beast can still diaf though.

The load times between warps to different areas, or even when respawning from death, are ridiculous. 45 secs I think? How could they call that acceptable when the game is all about dying and trying again. Its bizarre. I mean the entire area is already loaded, how can it take so long to respawn?

So I'm torn between the cane or hammer when I get to finally play this Friday.

I was all over the threaded cane...but then my buddies who got it earlier both picked that weapon so now I feel I should try something else to get a unique experience compared to them.

Not sure if it's as viable as the others. Seems like a slow and very long recovery animation when using it.

Maybe the Axe would be better?

Blah.

I've asked this topic to death but hoping there's an answer now: so is "bloodborne" the disease that's taken over and infected all the inhabitants of yarnham? Is it this disease that's also infected your homeland and the reason you traveled to yarnham in hopes for the cure?

Saw Spear!

Very lost here. I
Killed the Blood-Starved Beast, but I have no fucking idea where to go next. I know Vicar Amelia is supposed to be the next mandatory boss, but I can't find her at all in the Cathederal. Do I have to get her from the prison those bag enemies take you to, or did I really miss something?

Okay, so did I miss the [fifth boss]
Witch......
, I somehow managed to get to the [later boss?]
Shadows of Yharam(sp?), the three guys you fight at once
. Am I supposed to be fighting this boss? Because it is really hard at the moment.

Also, are there any better armors? They all seem to have roughly similar defense, with just slight differences to things like magic resist and poison stuff...Is it just more about wearing what you want rather than the unbalanced armors of previous souls games?

anybody on this?
