So, I just learned there is an item dupe glitch you can use to duplicate any item that is stack able. 1,000,000 Blood echoes, 99 Molotov, etc... I want to experience the challenge, but with very limited playing time (3 year old, wife, 7 month old), I feel really tempted to use this glitch to give myself an advantage so I'm not playing the first level over and over and over without making any progress.

Right now I can get to sewers, but not sure where to go after you exit the sewers when you climb up a large ladder.

So a big, corporeal
ghost keeps grabbing me, infecting me with blood frenzy, and then it kills by a big door.
Any way to get past it or is that a story deal.

Could be due to how short it is in comparison to the other Souls games though. How long did Demon's/Dark Souls take you to finish?

Demon's took me 33 hours while Dark took 40 hours to finish, and that's going around exploring shit a decent amount.

Damn, Dark Souls took me 70 hours to beat. =/

On the second character that I made (that beat the game), I died a total of 48 times. That's including the bullshit and super-tired-fall-of-cliff-deaths.

Nice job...I died 5 times to the first enemy in the game before I figured out how to equip my weapons. I have probably died another 20-25 times since then and have not encountered the first boss yet.

This is all new for me may be done if I don't get past the first boss soon. My reflexes may be too slow for this type of game.

I would not do that, ruins all of the fun

So, those black things that are... like a bunch of heads with many legs, that run away from you when they see you... are they like this game crystal geckos or something? I got one and it droped just a bunch of blood stone shards, so I'm not sure if was just chance.

yes. they drop twin shards for me now.

Why cant we reset/respawn enemies simply by touching the lantern?I wouldnt mind the loading times if we could just do that

Also there should be an option to travel between lanterns

Because going backwards in game design is the new hotness.

Welp, went to check out the Tomb of Oedon lantern because it said it couldn't be accessed. Found a hostile yellow hunter and he wrecked me instantly and Eileen showed up as I died. Almost killed him multiple times while being killed myself, the last time he killed Eileen before he killed me. I grabbed her badge after that and now I am unable to use the summoning bell to get help with the fight.

Ok after 10 tries to beat the machine gun dude on the roof I need a break! I cant beat this dude. I also have no luck ever getting help summoning people. I have wasted 10 insight or so looking for people and no one is ever found.... Looks Like I need to finish this fight alone...

If you want to cheese him, hurry up that ladder (with O) and run toward him (one roll towards him helps) and then hit him fast with a faster combo/weapon. Chances are good that he falls of the tower. quit and releoad and take his loot. He's very though without cheese.

Everyone said the hard cap on a stat is 50. But if i level my vitality to 51,'my hp increases 8 points. So what's the actual cap?
Hard, hard cap is 99.

Leveling it above 50 is a terrible choice. At least until you've maxed out the SKL/STR.

if you get super frustrated and have a pistol you can lock on him from near the top of ladder and then go up and spam pistol shoot him off the roof. If the loot disappears just exit the zone and come back and it'll be there

Can you shoot from the ladder? Im assuming you need to be standing all the way off it.

Wow, this gonna be one hell of catch up lol
since I'm still farming for my Diablos Z armor

Hahaha. Yeah, I won't be playing MH4U again until I'm satisfied with my time in Bloodborne. To be fair, I have 270 hours in MH4U so I don't really feel bad about taking an extended break.

Ugh, GAF, I'm in Central Yarnham now and still do not have a weapon apart from the gun. Did I miss something? Am I already dead?

(No spoilers, please, if possible.)

Going against Cleric Beast with 420k souls in the bag.

Wish me luck.

Started up again still getting my ass handed to me by
Father Gascoigne
. Honestly this boss is harder than anything in any of the previous games. I can't think of a boss that gave me this much trouble or was this difficult.

Went back to the Hunter's Dream and the doll wasn't where she normally was, she was
kneeling at a gravestone, and when I got near I heard her saying a prayer for me (the hunter). So sweet ; ;

Unsure where to go to next.

Spoiler warning, long list.
List of bosses I've killed so far:

CB
Father
BSB
Vicar
Shadows
Witch
Darkbeast
Rom
One Reborn
Micolash
Wet Nurse
Logarius
Amygdala

GAF help me out here, i was at Hemwick when i got trashed by the giant axe guy, i had about 60k blood echoes, then i go back to Hunters dream to upgrade my weapons, and i just killed every single enemy in Hemwick and i can not find my echoes, i looked everywhere and killed every single enemy but the boss, and no i did not die again, does teleporting to Hunters Dream makes you lose your Echoes? do enemies in other areas can get your echoes?

Go back to hunters dream and check everything. You can't miss it (look at the floor on the stairs)

I am really not liking this game anymore. Was having a blast through the first two bosses and areas, but now I am unable to progress or even hang onto my blood long enough to do anything and the game makes it impossible for me to even summon people for help.

Sooo, is there a "right" way to go in the game to progress or is it just completely non-linear?

Beating ass in Central Yarnam atm but I don't have a clue where I'm meant to go.

Guys, calm down. Please. Plenty of people have already beaten the game on GAF :)

I took my sweet as time. If you watched the stream, you know how many times I just stood still and complemented the environments.

I watched you run around the Cathedral Ward like a chicken with your head cut off and then continually get rekt by the boss. Highly enjoyable stream, btw. Did you continue with that character? Your play style is entertaining to watch but MUCH faster than mine.

The game gives you hints where to go. You have to beat one boss (first mandatory one) before you can do anything else.

Wow, much easier in NG+ than NG.

81k souls (Cleric Beast).
