I finally have serious time to dedicate to this game.

I can't say I was ever a fan of most of the recolors but Greymon (Black) and Garurumon (Black) look pretty cool.

They also get a different main attack then their "normal" counterparts which is nice.

Yeah he was before the anime came along. (which is why Virus one is shown in Digimon World 1 since that came before the anime as well).

but even discounting that, it still goes Agumon (Black) to Greymon (blue) lol.

am sure others would use the proper types and do a bunch of damage even though they are lv99 stats wise they still are pretty low tier digimon lol am pretty sure online is filled with all kinds of high level players by now

I've finally managed to get up to 30 memory. It's still not a lot, but I can at least have a slightly better team now. Now if I could just get some more farm space. I have so many Digimon right now, and not enough space to keep them all.

1) How do I get more Party Memory?

2) Seeing as GeoGreymon is in the game, can I eventually get my hands on RizeGreymon or Samudramon? In fact, is there a full list of all 240 or so Digimon in the game?

3) Aside from levelling, how else can I influence particular stats with my Digimon? I know friendship is influenced by how much you use the Digimon/feed them, but what about stats like Talent, Attack, Intelligence etc?

digimon come with specific stats traits at random and those will raise faster than the normal ones. then you can use accessories at the farm to help raise a particular stat.

Really helpful! Thanks Parakeetman. I wasn't really expecting there to be so much to this game, and I keep having to refer to the tutorials in the player option in the menu since I keep forgetting things.

I'll try and find a list online since Japanese isn't a problem for me. There's a guidebook for this isn't there?

would HIGHLY suggest the guide book if you are going after every digimon its really useful which is highly surprising for a day 1 guide

also if you want to lv faster make at least one plat shit. プラチナスカモン or something. can make it from that ハグルモン only takes up 6pts too and gives a 200% exp payout to the base amount.

example
100 exp = 200 exp single
100 exp = 300 exp double
100 exp = 400 exp triple plat shits

and you keep the other digimon on standby in the pt but plats need to be in the fight for exp bonus

one problem with the book is i think they changed the game data in the middle of making the book since some data does not match up such as the prices the medal man buys the medals for and a few other things.

am a veteran of dq monsters out of all the collecting games that one by far is the most obsessive and insane one. so this by comparison is nothing lol

only real roadblocks are story based items and quest reqs. oh yeah some stats based stuff too depending.

i went massive overboard with dqm: joker 2. fantastic game and series if you are into raising monsters though. but HUGE timesink

I finally got my first Perfect level last night (MetalMamemon). But with only 45 memory keeping a perfect in my party takes up too much space, so for now I think I'll focus on adults.

I'm at the start of chapter 5 and I'm finding the story pretty engrossing. The characters are all pretty good. I'm looking forward to the weekend when I'll have more time to dedicate to the game.

I haven't seen any translations for the farm, but here's my (perhaps wrong) understanding of it.

• Instruct - Decide what to do with the Digimon in the farm.
• Change Leader Digimon - Each Digimon has a different attribute. Some might be good at attack , etc. Who you choose for leader affects the stat gains during training.
• Farm Goods - Stuff to train your Digimon with.
• Farm Upgrade - Makes your farm bigger. You need a &#12501;&#12449;&#12540;&#12512;&#25313;&#24373;&#12503;&#12521;&#12464;&#12452;&#12531;&#12488; for this.

I can't find a picture online for this part. I'll try taking a picture from my game later. Basically the menu you get when you click on Instruct.

• Train (Red) - Gives you three options. Top one is the slowest but friendship doesn't go down. Bottom one is the fastest but lowers friendship the most.
• Development (Blue) - Create items. Throw more money at it for better stuff.
• Investigate (Purple) - I'm not quite sure on this one. Something about requests and items.

Each of these takes an amount of time to do. Some Digimon have attributes that shorten the time for Development and Investigate. Mirei contacts you when the time reaches zero.

Anyone feel free to correct me on any of this.

The models are so good. Hope somebody can get snaps of Veemon and his evolutions, always liked his designs.

Bit odd that the game favours presenting so much action in the dialogue screens. Was it that hard to just do simple close-ups/angles?

It's a shame because for Tokyo being so immersive, that kind of oddity undoes it all.

If you get to Chapter 4 there is a sub quest where you can fight stronger digimon than what usually show up and if you have a 3 plat shit party you can gain a pretty good amount of exp per battle. Its where I stayed and filled up my digimon list to 148 before moving on lol

By chapter 4 you should have 40 memory.
