Been trying to summon a friend for about an hour, no luck, weather with a password or without i can't seem to invite him ar anyone else :(

Ran into my first boss that actually gave me a tough time: Rom.

Really had to make good use of the dodge in that fight. Those spiders do so much damage lol.

I found the boss really easy just by ignoring the spiders. They're too much of a hassle to deal with along with the projectiles.

I just got to Forbidden Woods and I'm scared. Gonna take a break, lol

Also, it sucks when I killed some tough NPC hunters and all they dropped were Quicksilver bullets. Major fucking troll, FROM

I am currently in the
dungeon where you get put if the guy with the bag over his shoulder kills you
. There's no way to get back to Dream and I am out of vials... wtf

The room with two bag guys on either side of you after going up a flight of stairs has a checkpoint. You don't need to fight the bag guys, they're slow.

That area is HUGE, keep an eye on where you're going lol

Just over half way through NG+, 0 deaths so far :D

God damn it, Bloodborne. I was position myself for a cool shot of the sky, and I got knocked off of the perch I was on by a wolfguy out of nowhere. <3

The worst part about U
nseen Village
is those fucking
old hags
that
grab you and slit your throat

First time it happened I was like come on come on COME ON OH COME OOOOOON

Done with my first real Bloodborne session (first one I don't count since I was only able to play until after CB).

What a game.

The world design. The encounter design. The atmosphere. I love the new combat mechanics and the overall different feel of combat. Everything negative I can come up with just pales in comparison to how amazing this feels overall.

I'm a little dissapointed hearing about NG not adding appreciably different things. Especially since I've almost beaten the game. I haven't gone to Cainhurst yet either so I haven't gotten the weapon I've basically been building for. I thought the games was great, I adore lovecraftian settings so this game ticked pretty much all my boxes. At least I still need to do the chalice dungeons.

You know I'm really glad the guide got delayed so the community can organically figure out all of the games intricacies like sidequests, how insight work, etc, as opposed to having every detail spelled out day 1.

I'll ask since I'm squanding my 99 potions, any suggestion for
Rom the son of a bitch ?
Anyone bothered to kill every spiders or do you suggest rushing trough the boss ?

GODDAMIT, one blow left to kill it :(

Pray at the church there and your prayers may be answered.

Seriously, you might be there before your time, find the checkpoint on the top floor in front of the cthulu statue.
Yeah those dudes are one-shotting me and I'm doing hamster bite status damage to them, getting the fuck outta here.

Been at work, and all I can think about is sinking back into this game over the weekend. Outside of one errand, I don't have shot to do, so it's game time when I get home.

I've only beaten 2 bosses so far, but I've already maxed out my storage for both quicksilver bullets and Blood Vials. I can't pick up anymore, so I've gotten into the habit of using any blood vials as needed when an enemy drops something. Usually it's a blood vial anyway, so I get it right back.

I've finally been able to fortify my weapon with a blood gem, so that's cool, but I'm not sure how it's bonus effect is supposed to work.

Are there any cool or useful weapons that benefit from the Skill attribute, aside from the cane which I don't care for? I stupidly raised it to 17 at start of game and my str is 9. I'm using the axe because of how good it is, but it benefits most from strength. :(
I don't want to re roll. I'm at 4th boss. I wonder if I should start grinding souls to raise strength at least to 16 so I can try out the Kirkhammer

Coming from where I couldn't even beat
the Cleric Beast, I ran into Father Gascoigne and on my 2nd try defeated him.

This game has a satisfaction level that's simply bonkers.

Here's my footage. So happy I did this before I logged to eat. At one point in this video, I was down to maybe 1 HP lol.

Is the giant cathedral in Old Yarnham with the thing hanging from the chandelier the boss room? I want to know if I should spend these souls first.
The one with the rotting corpse and tons of those screaming midgets? It isn't

Let's just say you'll see the boss coming from a mile away. The whole area screams BOSS

Yeah it feels like you have to figure shit on your own, no looking at online guides. Most guides online are behind where I am currently!

Though I still need to have all the info because a lot of stuff is still pretty vague especially the side content and secrets.

Glad to hear it, I remember your struggle with CB. I also found Father G way easier

Were there a bunch of crucified werewolves on fire outside? If no, then no. If yes, then yes.

That might be what I'm doing.
I took an elevator from a room at the Cathedral Ward lantern and then to a tower with a bunch of sniper guys. Going down from inside the tower is a bunch of wooden planks that you have to platform through. I keep missing this jump to reach a platform that has a door.

This is what my friend did. Worked for me too. I think this is what you're talking about.

More discussion on Insight (could be considered large, don't read until you're done with NG or want to figure things out on your own):

Goddamnit, this is world tendency done right. Yes, it is roughly a difficulty slider, but with some give and take either way. Enemies have more HP/higher defense in addition to discernible animation and attack differences, and the price of Vials at the shop increases with # of insight).

Awesome, awesome shit.

Is my game bugged ? After the orphanage boss
Where you go fight Ebrieta. I died, and trying to go back, the elevator isn't there, and i can't call it, i get the "device not operable. Is there a trick ?

Tried reloading and still nothing. Can anyone try summoning to get be back down there ?

NG+ Rom down... definitely the hardest NG+ boss so far (had to use 11 blood vials).

Thx. I just ran in after I posted that because I couldn't be bothered to go back. Really did look like a boss arena though.

It's really cool. Like on the wiki I've looked at it says there are
3 confirmed covenants (only one of which I found!) but seems like there is a lot of speculation about potential others

Yeah, I wasn't too trusting of it either lol

I tip tap toed around expecting that corpse to fall down and lunge at me once I got to the lit altar
