I didn't think they'd top my hate for Blighttown, but FROM never fails to deliver.
That area is no where near as bad as Blightown. Blightown had shitty poison mechanics from all over the place, bad framerates, weird ledge walking/running and cheap enemies that hit you from blind spots or from a distance.

Lol. Just got saved because there were like 5 specters in front of this door. Funny to see them all
lifted up into the air to their deaths by this black hole thing.

Go to the cathedral church bonfire. From that orientation, go to the right fork all the way through the misty under-woods. Watch out for dogs and snipers brah, they fuck you up real quick.

Thanks. I was going through the un
seen village, hypogean gaol
which is as hard as hell.
Edit: do you mean grand cathedral waypoint

I received this note from Sony regarding “Lunarium Key” bug.

Missing “Lunarium Key” bug:
Following limited early reports from users, the development team has worked quickly to identify, recreate, and ultimately confirm a progression bug regarding the “Lunarium Key” in “Byrgenwerth” not appearing properly.
Criteria:
This bug occurs once the user initiates online multiplayer as a co-op guest (by using the “Small Resonant Bell”) or as a hostile invader (by using the “Sinister Resonant Bell”) in the “Forbidden Woods” area.

Solutions:
- A 1.02 hotfix is currently being finalised and prepared for deployment. - Due to the early detection and reporting of this bug (thanks to the Reddit and GameFaqs communities for escalating), the team is confident the hotfix can be released this week. An exact ETA is not presently available, but we will provide more information as soon as possible.
- This hotfix will not include previously stated planned improvements to load times and performance; those refinements will be included later in a separate patch.
- Players are advised to please avoid using either the “Small Resonant Bell” or the “Sinister Resonant Bell” in the “Forbidden Woods” until the hotfix is deployed
- To the players who have already fulfilled the bug criteria and encountered this issue: the team extends its sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. The 1.02 hotfix will resolve this issue and every step is being taken to deploy it as soon as possible. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.

Is the key for the door that is at the top of the healing church?

If it is supposed to exist, where does it exist? Forbidden Woods?

Also, is Eileen the ugly women in the sewers? I met her early on. I think she gave me the 'cape-shrug' gesture. Should I go back to talk to her?

Gotta wait. Summoning into the woods is glitched and until it is fixed can break your game.

Fuck I forgot about that. Close call I may have done that this morning too. Cheers. Any tips for fighting them on my own? I try to stay the opposite side of the pillar to the bloke shooting fire but still get turned over by the other two. Also
the snakes
in the woods are HORRIBLE

decided to watch some BB LPs of earlier areas and boy, some people raised the brightness up too much. Totally ruins the lighting and dark atmosphere of the game. Creepy parts don't even look creepy anymore lol

YT compression handles darkness reaaaally badly. Some Evil Within LPs may as well be audio podcasts.

I cant help it :/
It's balanced weirdly, I have it set for whats normally too low for most games and its still too high for its scale. Like I messed with my TV settings.

Careful if you're watching on YouTube because the sidebar will recommend some spoilery stuff

You know, the one where you fought the
the crazy women with the gold pendant that turned into an over-sized dog face women. Amelia i think is her name.
Go to that bonefire. And from that orientation go to the right fork all the way to fight the Witch.

Did anyone else notice
the music change in the Hunter's Dream
when you get 50 insight? I thought that was cool...or am I going crazy and imagining things?

EDIT: I left and came back, but now it's back to what it was before. Uh... WHAT'S HAPPENING!?

Actually yes. I had a horrible time with them today. I use twin-blades and although fast they were not actually doing a terribly good job. Switched up to cane and used the whip mode of it.

Bam easy as hell...

I took out the Fireball guy first, then the single sword guy, then the candle/sword guy.

I fucking hated the fight. Especially when its just you and the last one and giant motherfucking snakes get summoned.

How do you get to
Losefka
, because I'd like to kill her. This is post
blood moon and everything went crazy town

Go to the Forbidden Woods. Right before the entrance to the village with the gate go left up a hill. You'll see some dogs and dog cages, off to the side is a hidden path leading to a cave. Explore the cave until you find a ladder and climb it.

So you reckon I should buy myself the cane? Upgrade it a bit and give that a bash?

Also, beat the Final boss today, here's the fight,
he was by far the hardest fight in the game for me, for some reason.

The consistency of the quality in this game was amazing. It never felt like it dropped off or became dissapointing for a level or area, and some areas have level design that is LITERALLY SO GOOD I CAN'T EVEN.

I had no expectations for this game to shoot so far up my favorites list, but this might be not only my favorite Souls-y game, but one of my favorite games ever.

BB >= DkS > DeS >>>>> DkS2

Depends on playstyle. I like fast, so I can roll in hit quickly and get out. I have seen people do really well with the Axe and other weapons as well.

If you die, go down the path with the huge pigs, you can avoid all the enemies and run by the last pig and bam your at the entrance to the boss again, takes less than a minute.

Repeating my question about Eileen:
how to proceed with her quest? I already talked to her near the sewer entrance in Central Yharnam and have met her ever since.
There's no happy ending for ANYONE in the game from what I have seen.

Yeah, but it seems Gasoicgne is the most unfortunate since it's all of his family.

In the Cathedral Ward, you have to open the door that requires a 10000 soul Seal you can buy. Clear most of the area. Eventually, you'll unlock a big gate that goes back to the lantern as a shortcut. After you open that gate, restart. Then, from the Chapel lantern, go through front door, she should be on immediate left
.

Also, two questions post Vicar Amelia.

1) What the hell is going on? Some enemies are gone. Old lady I sent to church is going nuts. The Giants aren't moving...

2) what next? Should I do Old Yarnham and fight BSB? Or fight Darkbeast? I've got the Black Church Set, but I've already got gunner guy firing at me. Can I still let him live by killing Darkbeast? AND. How do I get to Darkbeast anyway?

Old Yarnam is nuts. So much for the rumour about wearing
the Black Church set to keep Gatlin Gun npc at bay. I got the set before opening the gate. Wore it in, didnt matter, he still aggro'd.
It is a different kind of challenge for the series and a fun but also infuriating way to mix things up.

Yeah I already did the 800 metre sprint through the woods and past piggy to the boss once. Saves a lot of messing around. Bit worried as I can't even get close to beating him yet. Maybe I'm not levelled up enough
