I don't know how much hype will be for the next CoD this year and I hope Battlefront is released this year (no Battlefield this year). Of course Assassin Creed will be dropping something new but I feel like early October will allow them to get decent sale numbers.

The only other likely big game out in October would be NBA2K. I'm guessing COD and Battlefront will battle it out in November

Curveball for sure. They are releasing audio files from the perspective of a journalist "uncovering" the full story behind Master Chief. Why he is being labeled as a traitor here... we don't know yet.

I was a huge fanboy up until after Halo 3 and ODST, read all the books, bought merchandise. My interest waned after finishing the trilogy, skipped Reach and 4 (but read all the plot synopses, and kept up with the lore + the EU novels).

Battlefront never had a HUGE following, it'll do decent.
CoD and FIFA sure.
AC might have a down year after Unity.

i hate 4 as much as the next guy but was it ever difficult to find a match? i seriously don't know as i quit after day 2.

But Halo 5's MP is actually good... so I disagree. The population will dip, but it's all about keeping people coming back for more. If the game works, Halo 5 will do fine because its MP is solid, IMO.

Have mixed feelings about a late October release date.

It's better than November in terms of making the game get more attention when it launches but I'm worried about the online population -- especially if Call of Duty will release during the first week of November.
